The Nation’s Little Brother, Yoo Seung-ho
Yoo Seung-ho received this nickname as he started his career in such a young age. He first made an appearance in a phone advertisement in 1999 after his mom sent in a photo of her son to an ad agency. Turns out his cute face and good acting skill lead him in paving his start as a child actor. One significant film that boosted his popularity and gave him the title ‘Nation Little Brother’ is called The Way Home (집으로…) (2002) in which he played a bratty city boy who learns to appreciate country life when he’s forced to spend the summer with his deaf-mute grandmother.
Since then, Yoo Seung-ho began to act more and make his name known to the public as one of Korean top actors. When you first hear his nickname you must think that he’s very innocent and adorable like a typical little brother, but don’t be fooled by his appearance and young age! Along with all the films and dramas he had shot, the number of women he had kissed, starting from new aspiring actresses to grade A actresses, is beyond the number of our fingers. Now, Yoo Seung-ho sure doesn’t seem like a little brother anymore, right? Recently, he is known for his role as Kang Bok-soo in his recent drama My Strange Hero partnering with Jo Bo-ah.
