After his experience of being an underground rapper, Mino had another opportunity, that is almost debuting with the boy band Block B. Mino was one of the former trainees of Stardom Entertainment, he used to train together with other members of Block B, but he decided to leave because of unknown reasons. Even though he left, his friendship with the other members of Block B still remains and they friends to this day.
