Wanna One’s Contract Ends, Park Ji-hoon Prepares for His Solo Debut!
After completing the contract with the Wanna One group, Park Ji-hoon will make his solo debut!
Through their official Instagram account, Maroo Entertainment agency announced Park Ji-hoon will debut on March 26th. The pre-order solo album was officially announced and released on March 11th. Not only that, but the mini-album titled O’Clock will also share the tracklist of songs which was announced on March 18th.
Meanwhile, this Wanna One former member has successfully finished his first solo fan meeting in February and will continue in several Asian cities.

Park Ji-hoon has revealed the name of his official fan club name!
Since Wanna One’s contract ended on December 31st, 2018, Park Ji-hoon has been establishing new ways to stay connected with fans, opening his official fan cafe, website, and Instagram account. And now, he also has his official Twitter account!
Park Ji-hoon paired the opening of his new Twitter account with a video announcing his official fan club name. Along with the opening of his official fan cafe, he had asked fans to submit potential options for his fan club name. The top choices were May, Memory, Wing.zip, Cherish, Jufiter, We-ty, Maeum (Heart), and Twiny. Before revealing his final decision, Park Ji-hoon decided to have a little fun and enlisted the help of his dog Max. Though things didn’t go quite as planned as Max had no interest in picking a name.
Finally, Park Ji-hoon revealed that his official fan club name will be May. The name not only refers to the fact that Park Ji-hoon’s birthday is on May 29th, but it also refers to be a verb, which expresses the possibility of something happening. This reflects both Park Ji-hoon’s unlimited potential and possibilities, as well as his fans’ determination to support him no matter where he goes.

Park Ji-hoon, Ex Wanna One Confirmed Starring in JTBC’s New Historical Drama
JTBC will soon be working on a new historical drama titled Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency. Previously, the production side had announced two main cast names, namely Kim Min-jae and Seo Ji-hoon.
Now, JTBC is again securing a new name to join this drama, namely Park Ji-hoon. Previously, the former member of Wanna One was widely reported to have received an offer to play in this drama, but hadn’t made a decision yet.
This news was confirmed directly by his agency, Maroo Entertainment. “Park Ji-hoon has been confirmed to play a role in JTBC’s new Monday – Tuesday Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” the agency said.
The drama itself was adapted from a novel of the same title. The drama tells the story of a king who makes a request to the best dating agency in the Joseon Dynasty, the Flower Crew.
The king asks the dating agent to protect his first love somehow. For this reason, matchmakers on dating agents are willing to risk their lives to turn a lowly woman named Gae-dong into a noblewoman.
In this drama, Park Ji-hoon will portray the character Go Young-soo. He is deemed as the most fashionable and cool man in the Joseon Dynasty.
Before debuting with Wanna One, Park Ji-hoon was known as a child actor who appeared in various dramas, such as Jumong, The King and I, and Iljimae. Thus, Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency will be the first drama he takes part in as an adult actor.
