Wang Feifei, or better known as Fei, is a Chinese singer, actress, and entertainer. She was a former member of the South Korean girl-group Miss A, under JYP Entertainment. The group debuted in 2010, with their first single “Bad Girl Good Girl”, and the group disbanded in 2017.

The singer, who was born April 27, 1987, was a vocalist of Miss A. Fei made her solo singing debut in 2016, with the single, “Fantasy,” which Billboard magazine critics named one of the 20 best K-pop songs of 2016.

Debuting as a JYP Entertainment singer after years of training as a member of Miss A in 2010, Fei was known for her amazing singing and dancing skills.

On January 23, 2019, Fei confirmed that she had parted ways with JYP Entertainment in late 2018, after her contract expired. She signed with Huayi Brothers in order to pursue her solo career in China.

Wonder Girls’ Sun-ye

Wonder Girls is one of the most popular female idol groups from South Korea. The leader and main vocalist of the group is Min Sun-ye, better known as Sunye or Sun. Aside from being a singer, she also is a South Korean missionary and actress. Sunye debuted as leader and main vocalist of Wonder Girls in February 2007, along with the five other members in the group, Yeeun, Sunye, Sunmi, Hyuna, and Sohee, with the single “Irony”. After Hyuna’s departure in July of the same year, Yubin was added into the group prior to the release of their debut studio album, The Wonder Years, in 2007. The hit single from the album, “Tell Me”, topped various South Korean online and offline music charts.

In 2008, Wonder Girls made a comeback with their popular single, “Nobody”. The song went to No. 1 on KBS’ Music Bank, staying there for four consecutive weeks, and also won Cyworld’s “Song of the Month” award in September and October 2008.

In January 2013, Sunye got married, and she gave birth to a daughter in October 2013. In December 2014, she officially retired from entertaining, shifting her focus to her family and missionary work in Haiti with her husband.

As the main vocalist, Sunye stands out from the Wonder Girls due to the natural color of her tone. She really has a very beautiful and unique instrument; her voice is very bright and feminine, with a lightness and clearness that makes it always sounds soothing and angelic. 

She has always been the main focus amongst the Wonder Girls members, by focusing not only on singing, but also on dance and being the leader. Her level of skill right before she debuted and as soon as she debuted has changed over time, and she has shown considerable improvement.

F(X) Luna

Park Sun-young, known by her stage name, Luna, is a South Korean singer, musical actress, and television presenter. She debuted as a member and main vocalist of the girl-group F(x) under SM Entertainment in September 2009, with their first single, “LA chA tA.”

Luna was first known for her amazing dance skills. However, besides her incredible skills in dancing, Luna is also a very good singer. She is one of the most capable and one of a kind vocalists amongst SM Entertainment vocalists, in general. She actually is a dancer turned to be the main vocalist, she has been able to show great improvement from her debut days until the present as a vocalist, and became a professional vocalist.

Luna has a light, bright, soprano voice, with a very youthful feminine color to it. It retains a clean sound throughout her range, and presents technical control superior to most other main vocalists.

Aside from her group activities, she also debuted as a solo singer. In 2010, Luna released the song “Let’s Go”, alongside labelmates Sungmin, Seohyun, and Jonghyun, for the purpose of increasing public participation in the 2010 G-20 Seoul summit. She also has a duet song with Super Junior’s Yesung, “And I Love You”, for the soundtrack of the KBS2 drama The President, and a solo single “Beautiful Day”, as the original soundtrack for the drama Please Marry Me.

On May 31, 2016, she made her solo debut with the mini album Free Somebody, complete with 6 songs, including a title track of the same name.

She also took part in the Anh Chi Hwan special for Immortal Song 2, and showcased her powerful singing ability with her cover of the classic hit “Salt Doll”.

T-ARA So-yeon

Park So-yeon was born on October 5, 1987, with the real name Park In-jung. She is a South Korean singer and actress. She debuted as a member of the girl-group T-Ara in July 2009, under MBK Entertainment, with their first single “Lies”.

T-ara became one of the best-selling girl-groups of all time. However, in 2017, Se-yeon withdraw from the group due to her expiry contract with her former label, MBK Entertainment.

Debuting in 2009 as the main vocalist of T-Ara, So-yeon has a very amazing vocal and angelic voice. She has a clean voice, and more mature and full sound amongst the other T-Ara members. Soyeon would most likely be classified as a light lyric soprano, due to the lightness of her voice and the high-placed range her voice naturally sits on.

Aside from her former group activities and promotion, Se-yeon also has released her solo songs, collaborations with other singers, and original soundtrack for dramas. And she has showcased her amazing and soothing voice, that captivated many other people’s hearts.

2NE1 Park Bom

Park Bom is a South Korean singer. She is best known as a former member of the South Korean girl-group 2NE1, under YG Entertainment. The singer, who was born March 24, 1984, debuted as a member and the main vocalist of 2NE1 in 2009, with their debut single titled “fire”. 

Prior to her debut with her group 2NE1, Park Bom had began her musical career in 2006, featuring on singles released by labelmates Big Bang, Lexy, and Masta Wu. In 2009, she made her debut as a member of 2NE1, as the main vocalist.

As a main vocalist, Park Bom has released two solo singles, “You and I” and “Don’t Cry”, which reached number one on the Gaon Digital Chart, the national music chart of South Korea. She was awarded Best Digital Single at the 2010 Mnet Asian Music Awards.

In 2016, 2NE1’s officially disbanded, and Park Bom left her group’s agency, YG Entertainment, in November of the same year. In July 2018, she signed with D-Nation Entertainment, and released her comeback single, “Spring”, featuring her former group-mate, Sandara Park, in March 2019.

As a main vocalist, Bom’s voice is one of the most unique voices in K-Pop. Her true tone is clearly heard in her earlier performances, and lacks the true lightness of a light lyric soprano.

Park Bom has strong vocals that capture the emotion in songs. Her voice is very unique, due to its huskiness and the weightier quality which allow for her voice to be easily recognizable in any song she sings.

Recently, she appeared on the Mnet television program “Queendom”. Through the program, Park Bom has showcased her unchanged and amazing skills in singing, and captivated the audience’s hearts.
