K-pop Makeup Step by Step

After reading and looking at all the makeup used by K-pop idols, you might wish to try and imitate their looks or try their makeup to look beautiful as they are, so here we will give a simple tutorial of K-pop makeup step by step.

1. Get the beauty products

The beauty products need to include lotion to moisten your skin, liquid foundation (could be BB cream), primer base or pore cover, and face powder. Eyeliner is also needed, you can choose more neutral color like brown or black. Eyebrow liner, eye shadow, teardrop liner and lip tint should be included.

2. Take a good care of your skin

Make sure that your face is clean by removing all the makeup first. You may use oil cleaner, after that exfoliate with scrub. To brighten your skin, use a toner. Then apply moisturizer and add night cream before you sleep so that your face will be fresher.

3. Wax Your Eyebrows

The shape of your eyebrow really determines how your face looks. Korean girls usually make straight and thick eyebrows. Choose the eyebrow type that suits you the most.

4. Start with the Base Layer

Put on primer base and lotion to close your pores. Then apply the foundation with SPF, (you can use BB cream). After that, put on powder to finish the base. In South Korea, girls prefer anti serum powder since it helps to reduce oil on face.

5. Apply Eye Shadow

You may choose the color that you like most, but if you are new to this, you may try the brown color first since it will look more neutral. To create a 3D appearance, you can apply a darker shade on the outside of your eyelashes and near your eyes. Also extend on the inside of your eyes but only by 3mm or less below your tear duct. This will help your eyes to look flatter and wider, which will result in a more Korean look.

6. Apply Eyeliner

Apply your eyeliner to past the edge of your eyes and draw it slightly up. It will give you a cat eye look.

7. Lastly, Mascara and Cherry Lips

Apply mascara after the eyeliner is done and cherry lips to make your lips look more glossy, and you will look just like a Korea girl.

These steps are the simplest Korea makeup tips, but if you are interested to look more stunning, you can apply more makeup on your eyes and style your hair with any Korean style. You can also choose a more brave color for your makeup.
