All You Need to Know About Super Junior’s Main Vocalist Ryeowook
Kim Ryeo-wook was born on June 21, 1987, also known as Ryeowook. He is a singer-songwriter and radio DJ of South Korea. He is known as a member of the South Korean boy band Super Junior and sub-groups Super Junior-M and Super Junior-K.R.Y. He is one of the three main vocals in Super Junior. Along with the other four Super Junior members, he is one of the first Korean artists to appear on Chinese stamps.
Ryeowook was discovered through the CMB Youth ChinChin Festival in 2004 and signed a contract with SM Entertainment as soon as the jury was impressed with his singing talent. He was trained in the fields of singing, dancing, and acting, Ryeowook placed particular efforts into vocal training and musical composition. He played the piano, and played accompaniment for fellow members during their solo stages at their concerts.
Before Kyuhyun was added in 2006, Ryeowook was the last person to join Super Junior a few weeks before their official debut in 2005. After completing his military duties, Ryeowook treated fans’ longing by joining Super Junior’s variety shows to the group’s latest comeback. Near the end of this year, Ryeowook surprised fans by announcing a solo comeback soon.
This news appeared on Tuesday, November 27. Super Junior members who have a melodious voice will release a new song titled “One and Only” on the 12 December. As usual, the MV will be released at 6pm local time.
Shortly after announcing the schedule for the release of this solo song, Ryeowook also released the first teaser for “One and Only”. The teaser video was released through Super Junior’s Twitter account on Tuesday, November 27. The teaser displays the hand of a woman holding a book at the dinner table.

The teaser is 24 seconds long and immediately plays a sweet glimpse of Ryeowook singing “One and Only”. Ryeowook himself has amazed fans with his voices filling the OST. Ryeowook also joined in the Super Junior sub unit which contained members with cool vocals.
Meanwhile, Ryeowook will release songs other than “One and Only” on November 28 at 6pm local time. The latest songs from Ryeowook itself are ready to compete on the music chart towards the end of the year which seems to be crowded with intense competition from other idol groups and other singers. Super Junior’s Ryeowook Reveals Pre-release Music Video ‘One and Only’
Super Junior’s Ryeowook has revealed a pre-release solo music video titled ‘One and Only’.
As promised yesterday, the pre-release music video was released through the official SMTOWN Youtube channel on the afternoon of Wednesday (28/11).
‘One and Only’ is a pre-release song title released by Ryeowook, before he released his second solo mini album on December 12. The song combines elements of pop music and R & B, which is delivered with a typical ballad vocal from Ryeowook.
Even though it is only a video of the lyrics, this video is very special because it contains a handwritten letter from Ryeowook for the ELF. Delaying Solo Album Release, Super Junior’s Ryeowook Affected By Influenza A
Super Junior’s Ryeowook fans must be patient for a long time to await his new solo album. This is because Ryeowook is experiencing health problems.
Quoted from Soompi, Label Suju released that Ryeowook’s mini album titled ‘Drunk on love’ had to be postponed from what was previously scheduled on December 11.
“Ryeowook flew to Bangkok, Thailand on December 7 to attend the 2018 MAYA International Music Festival. When he flew back to Korea on an early flight on December 10, he immediately visited the hospital because of high fever,” SJ Label said Monday (10/12 / 2018).
“He has been diagnosed with Influenza A which is contagious, and doctors recommend that he be quarantined and get plenty of rest,” he continued.
Quoted from Healthline, influenza A is the most serious type of influenza and is known to cause outbreaks of outbreaks. Common symptoms are coughs that don’t heal, sneezing, sore throat, dizziness, and fatigue. Influenza A if not treated quickly and can be seriously life-threatening.
Influenza is divided into three types, type A, B, and C. Influenza A and B are equally dangerous, but influenza B viruses mutate much more slowly than infection with influenza A virus. While influenza C only causes mild respiratory infections.
Therefore, Ryeowook’s second mini album will be postponed until January 2, 2019. This is done for Ryeowook’s health and prevents the transmission of influenza viruses. SJ’s label also asked fans to understand Ryeowook’s situation and stay patient until Ryeowook’s mini album was released.
Super Junior Ryeowook Released A New Single “I’m Not Over You”
Super Junior’s member, Ryeowook finally released his second solo mini album today, Wednesday (2/1). The album titled Drunk on Love was planned to be released last December, but was later postponed to give Ryeowook time to restore his health.
Aside from releasing a solo album, Ryeowook also launched a song and music clip for “I’m Not Over You.” The song is a soft pop ballad song with lyrics containing the words someone wants to convey to a lover after the relationship ends.
While the lyrics, called like reading a letter about someone’s emotions after breaking up. In his music video, Ryeowook looks lonely in a room in space. His eyes are empty. From another angle there was also a woman who was in the same situation, sitting pensively in a room. Scene after scene shows Ryeowook looking unable to turn away from a woman who filled his mind.
Not only I’m Not Over You, the total Drunk on Love album contains seven songs that highlight a number of Ryeowook’s talents as a solo singer.
Early last December, Ryeowook’s health condition had declined, even though the album’s release schedule was near. The agency then stated that it was forced to postpone the release of the album, as well as Ryeowook’s first appearance which brought a number of new songs.

Super Junior’s Ryeowook Releases Second Solo Music Video ‘Drunk In The Morning’
Super Junior’s Ryeowook re-released his solo music video titled ‘Drunk In The Morning’.
Previously, Super Junior’s personnel had already released the main music video “I’m Not Over You” with their second mini album “Drunk On Love”.
Now on Friday (04/01), fans get a second music video titled ‘Drunk In The Morning’. In this music video fans will again be spoiled with melodious and emotional vocals from Ryeowook. Besides that fans can also watch the dramatic acting shown by Ryeowook throughout the music video.
This is Ryeowook’s first solo comeback, after last releasing his first mini album ‘The Little Prince’ in 2016.
