Super Junior, or better known as SJ or SUJU, is a South Korean boy group consisting of Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. This boy group was formed in 2005 by producer Lee Soo-man from the record company SM Entertainment. They became known in the international arena after releasing a single titled “Sorry, Sorry” in 2009.

Super Junior-D&E’s 4th Mini-Album, Bad Blood
The K-Pop idol group as well as the 2-member subunit of Super Junior, which is Super Junior-D&E, is back on their comeback after more than a year by releasing a mini-album titled Bad Blood which was launched in September 2020. The mini-album released by Donghae and Eunhyuk contains 5 songs with their comeback title song, “B.A.D”. Meanwhile, 4 other songs, such as “Contact”, “To you, Tomorrow”, “Change”, and “Off Line” are included in the album.
Super Junior-D&E’s Eunhyuk mentioned that “B.A.D” has an electronic hip-hop genre which he said in an interview with South Korean media when they were about to release the song and an instrument that was quite addicting to listen to could be heard.
Bad Blood was released on September 3rd, 2020, and it marked the time of more than a year after Super Junior-D&E’s last album titled Danger was released, in April 2019. “B.A.D” was written and composed by Donghae and J-DUB. The lyrics describe beautiful women as something ‘bad’ for the duo.
The song is a mix of electronic and hip-hop genres. One of its members, Donghae, is known to have participated in the production of 3 other songs in this album and “Contact” which was made by Lalala Studio. Beside that, Eunhyuk, Joni, and ZigZag Note also participated in writing the lyrics for the song “To You, Tomorrow” adding to the perfection of the songs.
Fans can also see Super Junior-D&E’s musicality more deeply through the other songs in the mini-album Bad Blood. Bad Blood topped the weekly physical album charts on the Hanteo Chart and Synnara Record for the period August 31st to September 6th, 2020. This subunit consisting of Donghae and Super Junior’s Eunhyuk topped charts such as the Hanteo chart, Shinnara Record weekly chart, Gaon chart in week 36 in the period of August 30th to September 5th, 2020, as well as the retail album chart.
Not only in South Korea, but Bad Blood was also on the iTunes top album in 25 countries at once. Several countries including Indonesia, Guatemala, Russia, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, Vietnam, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Argentina, Ecuador, El Salvador, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Jordan, Chile, Colombia, Taiwan, Thailand, Peru, Philippines, and Hong Kong.
A few weeks after the release of the mini-album, Super Junior-D&E’s apparently prepared another surprise for fans by releasing the Bad Blood special version which was released on September 28th, 2020. In the photo, two hands are seen with a dark background with a swirl of smoke. There is a suspicion that this new version of the album is a continuation of the strong and bold concept of Bad Blood.
This special version of the mini-album Bad Blood includes two new tracks, one of which is the title track, “No Love”. Along with the release of the album, the music video for the song was also released on the same day. The “No Love” music video shows the charms of Donghae and Eunhyuk as young gentlemen and adults. Not only presenting a catchy melody, but this song also combines the vocals of the two members so nicely.
“No Love” is a song composed by Jonatan Gusmark, Ludvig Evers, Maxx Song, and Bobii Lewis, and the lyrics are written by Rick Bridges. This is an electronic dance song about honestly expressing interest in someone.
The mini-album special Bad Liar contains a total of seven tracks including the five tracks included in the mini-album Bad Blood. One of the new tracks in this mini-album is “What is Your Name”, written by Shindong.
