Sunwoo Jae-duk got married in 1997 with Park Su-Hyeon and have three sons: Sunwoo Jin, Sunwoo Hun, and Sunwoo Chan. Apparently, his sons must’ve been very good looking like their father because in one of the episodes in Radio star, Sun Woo Jae Duk reveals that his son received a call from SM Entertainment.

Sun Woo Jae Duk said, “Hun once appeared on ‘Star Junior Show’ and he didn’t get to talk much because of his introverted personality. But after he left the program, we still received a lot of love calls for CFs.”

Sun Woo Jae Duk further boasted , “My eldest son also received an offer to be a singer from SM Entertainment”, which made all the MCs curious about whether he had accepted the offer or not. Unfortunately, Sunwoo Jae-duk confessed that he had turned down SM’s offer.

Sun Woo Jae Duk reasoned, “Being a celebrity is a difficult job. I want him to try other things first and if he really wants to be a celebrity later on, we’ll consider it. But right now, I don’t think he has shown any interest in becoming one.”

On the 27th of February 2018, a user posted something on an online community, claiming to have been part of the production team for the 2003 MBC drama Crime and Punishment. Then, that user gave a detailed report of Sun Woo Jae Duk allegedly sexually harassing her at a karaoke room and forcing a kiss on her. She further claimed that the actor kept contacting her even after she changed her job.

In response to this post, he said, “It’s not right for me to explain everything right now. There’s a lot I want to say, but I have to be serious about what I say. I will go through my lawyer regarding everything”

Sun Woo Jae Duk’s legal representative also voiced, “It is not true at all. After checking with the actor, we were able to confirm that [the reports] are false. We are planning to take legal action against the writer of the post and the media outlets that [spread the rumors].”

What do you think about it? Did the rumor stain his reputation?
