South Korean girl group SPICA, sadly, declared that they have to disband. This was sourced from the official statement of CJ E&M which was released on February 6th, 2018, and said that the five SPICA members decided not to continue their careers together. SPICA debuted in 2012.

After being popular, this group also had a hiatus for two years in 2014 and returned in 2016. The news of the disbandment of this group immediately attracted the attention of netizens and went viral on the Twitter social network.

“After getting a lot of considerations about what we are going to aim for from now on, we will focus on doing individual activities and have discussions with the agency to end our contract,” said Kim Bohyung as a member of SPICA. “For the current situation, we can’t answer too many statements about when SPICA will be back together with 5 members, but this is certainly not the end of everything!”

Not only Kim Bohyung wrote a farewell letter for their fans, MERCURY, but other SPICA members also uploaded and wrote a similar letter stating that they will not stop working as idols and will continue to greet their fans with their future activities.
