On July 10, 2020, WYNN Entertainment as the management promoting SPECTRUM released an official announcement regarding SPECTRUM’s disbandment due to suffering from COVID-19. Some small agencies like WYNN Entertainment could not get enough income to keep their artists because all activities and work had to stop during the pandemic in 2020.

“We are WYNN Entertainment. It is with sadness that we have to announce this bad news to you. Due to the condition of our management deteriorating for various reasons, one of which is the coronavirus, we can no longer maintain SPECTRUM. Thus, WYNN Entertainment has canceled the contracts with the six SPECTRUM members on July 10, 2020.”

“We thank the members of SPECTRUM who have been with us for the past three years. We will continue to provide support to the members and their future activities.”

“We apologize to the fans who sincerely loved and cared about SPECTRUM until now. Thank you,” the official statement wrote.

Some fans who had supported SPECTRUM’s career since its debut in 2018 expressed their sadness and disappointment because this boy group which had 7 members only got 2 years of promotions and had not even done many other activities in their group.
