Lee Young-ah is a South Korean model and actress who is well-known for playing Nguyen Jin Joo in SBS’s 2007-2008 drama Golden Bride and Yang Mi Sun in KBS2’s 2010 drama Bread, Love and Dreams.

Lee Young-ah first appeared in MBC’s program Kang Ho Dong’s Soulmates when she was 19 years old. She made her debut as an actress in 2005 with SBS’s I Love You My Enemy as well as MBC’s Youth in Barefoot, KBS2’s Wedding, and KBS2’s Golden Apple.

In 2010, she was one of the main leads in KBS’s Bread, Love and Dreams which was one of the most watched shows in South Korea and was well received with a final episode viewership rating of 50.8%, becoming the 25th highest rated drama of all time. The drama was also shown in the Philippines, Vietnam, and other countries. Naver listed the drama as the most searched in South Korea of 2010.
