Park Ji-yeon is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a member of girl group T-ara, which debuted in July 2009. The drama aired on KBS2 from January 4 to February 23, 2010 on Mondays and Tuesdays at 21:55 for 16 episodes.Jiyeon’s role was as Na Hyun-jung, a girl who had a crush on Hwang Baek-hyun (Yoo Seung-hoo’s character). When she found out that he loved Gil Pul-ip (Go Ah-sung’s character), she lost her way for a short time. However, she came back to the special class and eventually pursued her love for drawing. Jiyeon sang one of the soundtracks, titled “Rolling”. The song is about Na Hyun-jung’s one-sided feelings toward Hwang Baek-hyun.
“My Sea” is Jiyeon’s solo song in the second track of the Japanese single “Bunny Style!” standard edition 4. The main track was released on March 20, 2013. There are seven standard edition DVDs, and on each edition there is a solo song from each member along with the main track.
“1 Minute 1 Second (Never Ever)”
On May 20, 2014, T-ara’s Jiyeon debuted as a solo singer with “1 Minute 1 Second (Never Ever)” in the Never Ever extended play. Her agency said that her solo concept is sexy and similar to Park Jiyoon’s ‘Coming of Age Ceremony’, but with a modern, 2014-esque twist. The song is a medium-tempo song produced by Double Sidekick.

In July 2016, Jiyeon collaborated with 2BiC’s Jun-hyung on the song “Summer Love”. The song also featured the rapper Yoon Yo. The song is about a couple who love each other.
On December 22, 2018, Jiyeon released a single titled “One Day”. The song is a medium-tempo ballad that has a warn and cozy sound. The lyrics are about the feelings of someone who wishes and hopes for a love that makes your heart race as you spend a snowy, white Christmas with someone. She released both a Korean and Chinese version of the song, with accompanying music videos.

T-ara’s Jiyeon released the new album SENPASS, with its title track “Take a Hike”, on December 26, 2019. Her latest activity prior to her comeback as solo singer is that she acted in KBS2’s mystery/romantic-comedy drama, I Wanna Hear Your Song (2019). The series aired from August 5 to September 24, 2019. Her co-stars in the drama are Yeon Woo-jin, Kim Se-jeong, and Song Jae-rim. T-ara’s Jiyeon acted as Ha Eun-joo, a violinist in the orchestra, who is known for her arrogance. She also participated in singing one of the soundtracks, titled “One Blue Night”.
