At last, SNSD released the first greatest hits in Japanese music market titled The Best on July 23, 2014, by EMI Records Japan. The album successfully tops at #1 on Oricon Weekly Album Chart, Billboard Japan Top Weekly Album, and G-Music Taiwan Weekly Album Chart in 2014 and peaked #4 on G-MusicTaiwan Weekly Album Chart, #9 on G-Music Taiwan Year-end Album Chart #22 on Oricon Year-end Album Chart in 2014, and #29 on Billboard Year-end Album Chart in 2015, whereas the sales of the album have reached more than 182,765 copies in Japan. In addition, the album has so many different tracklist versions so what we will include here is the new edition (standard edition), namely “Genie” (Japanese version), “Gee” (Japanese version), “Mr. Taxi”, “Paparazzi”, “Oh!” (Japanese version), “Flower Power”, “Love & Girls”, “Galaxy Supernova”, “Indestructible”, and “Divine”.
