NCT’s Ten

Chittaphon Leechaiyapornkul (ชิตพล ลี้ชัยพรกุล) was born in Bangkok, Thailand, on February 27th, 1996. He is known by his stage name Ten (Hangul: 텐) and debuted in a boy group under SM Entertainment, NCT, on April 4th, 2016, with 5 other members in the first NCT unit named NCT U and they released The 7th Sense as their first digital single. On December 31st, 2018, NCT’s Ten was added into NCT’s subunit for China members, WayV.

WayV made their official debut with the release of the extended play, The Vision, with a music video, “Regular,” which is a Chinese version of NCT 127’s “Regular.” WayV has 4 members who have already debuted as NCT members, such as Ten, Lucas, Winwin, and Kun while the 3 other members are Yangyang, Hendery, and Xiaojun who made their first debut in 2018 as original WayV members.

Before debuting, NCT’s Ten won a prize in a television show, Teen Superstar, in 2010 and he got a reward to join as a trainee in Starship Entertainment but he refused. Until 2013, NCT’s Ten won the 1st place in S.M’s Thailand Global Audition. After debuting, NCT’s Ten finally joined as a member of NCT U and performed “The Sixth Sense” as his official debut single. On March 24th, 2017, NCT’s Ten was announced to release his first single through SM Station: Season 2 project with a song titled “Dream In A Dream” and another comeback unit with NCT U’s Tae-yong as the two were added as a duo by releasing the track “Baby Don’t Stop” on February 26th, 2018.

On April 6th, 2018, NCT’s Ten released another single, “New Heroes,” and it has reached the Billboard charts at no. 4. Becoming one of the members of NCT who is recognized for his talent in dancing, Ten has been given a lot of opportunities to show off his talent by releasing a solo track and he also has a solo dance break in NCT 2018’s first studio album, Black On Black.

In 2016, NCT’s Ten also joined a dancing competition for idols, Mnet’s Hit The Stage, with other idols that have a talent in dancing, such as SNSD Hyo-yeon, BLOCK B’s U-Kwon, Jang Hyun-seung, SISTAR’s Bo-ra, Big Star’s Feeldog, TWICE’s Momo and many more.

These days, NCT’s Ten has been promoting with NCT’s subunit in China, WayV. The group that has been focusing in China went to many television shows as a guest and performed their songs as well. On May 27th, 2019, WayV released a dance practice video for their latest track, “Take Off.” In this comeback, NCT’s Ten has become the member who steals the spotlight as he has a dance break in the center.

On July 2nd, 2019, WayV was on the cover of NYLON China Magazine and each member has their own photoshoot while showing their own charisma as well.

NCT’s Jisung

Park Ji-sung (Hangul: 박지성) was born in Seoul, South Korea, on February 5th, 2002. He is known by his stage name Ji-sung (Hangul: 지성) and debuted as part of NCT’s 3rd subunit, NCT Dream, on August 24th, 2016.

NCT’s Jisung was known as the youngest idol in SM Entertainment which has a dancing talent above average. Instead of being the youngest of the group, NCT’s Jisung became the lead dancer of the group due to his specialty in popping and locking movements. His favorite artists and inspiration are EXO’s Kai and SHINee’s Tae-min.

In September 2018, NCT’s Jisung participated in a dancing competition show, Dancing High, and he showed off his talent in dancing. Even though he is an idol, NCT’s Jisung still acts like the other participants and does not want to be privileged. In the latest episode, NCT’s Jisung revealed the reason for wanting to join Dancing High.

“The most difficult thing for me since a long time ago was that there was no one I knew at school. So I don’t have friends, not one,” NCT’s Jisung said. He added that he wants to be surrounded by people who have the same interests. “Everyone at Dancing High is a dancer and we have similarities. I came to this program to find friends and grow up as a dancer,” he added.

On July 2nd, 2019, NCT’s official YouTube account, NCT Daily, has uploaded the recent activities of NCT Dream while each member is having fun with mural painting while at Andong K-Pop Concert Mural Event and after that, NCT Dream’s Jisung, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, and Chenle went to a Korean BBQ restaurant to eat their lunch before heading back to the next location to perform.

SHINee’s Taemin

Lee Tae-min (Hangul 이태민) was born in Seoul, South Korea, on July 18th, 1993. He is known by his stage name Tae-min (Hangul 태민) and debuted with a boy group under SM Entertainment, SHINee (Hangul: 샤이니) on May 22nd, 2008, with the release of their album with the title track “Replay” (누난 너무 예뻐).

SHINee originally had 5 members, but Jong-hyun died from an apparent suicide on December 18th, 2017. The other member of SHINee; Onew, Key, Min-ho, and Tae-min; decided to keep going through and made another comeback with “The Story of The Lights” series from May 28th, 2018 for 1st series, June 11th, 2018 for the 2nd series and the third series on June 25th, 2018.

Tae-min had impressive dance skills since he was a trainee. He even captivating the heart of everyone during audition with his amazing dance skills.

Taemin made his solo debut with his first album “Ace” on August 18, 2014, with the title track “Danger”. Through his solo, Tae-min able to show his true ability on both dancing and singing. His powerful dancing and vocal are slowly recognized and made him receive a lot of awards as a solo artist.

With his comeback with the song “Move”, Tae-min dance move become popular dance move and become the hottest dance ever because it was sexy and elegant. Both the song and dance move received a lot of compliments and made euphoria with a lot of artists doing the cover of it. Ever since then, Tae-min both active as a solo artist and member SHINee.
