Seo In-guk made his first debut as an actor when he was cast in a drama called “Love Rain” in 2012. It was only a supporting character, but he then was cast as the male lead actor in a drama called “Reply 1997” in the same year. The drama became very popular and Seo In-guk’s ability to act started to become recognized by people. After that, he started to be known more as an actor rather than a singer.

Seo In-guk portrayed Kim Moo-young, a mysterious man who was raised in an orphanage. He worked in a beer factory, and lived as a lonely guy to the point where no one knows about what drives him or his emotions. When he was a kid, Kim Moo-young lost his family. The reason was still a mystery, since Moo-young didn’t have any memories that remained regarding his childhood, except for living in the orphanage.
Later on, Kim Moo-young meets Yoo Jin-guk, a detective who tried to solve a murder case that involved Moo-young’s friend. He also met Yoo Jin-kang at an event that was held by Jin-kang’s friend, Baek Seung-a. Kim Moo-young started to approach Baek Seung-a, who later on falls in love with him, and Yoo Jin-kang worries about that.
Kim Moo-young is a dangerous guy, and Seo In-guk portrayed this character really well. We can see how amazing his acting skills were when he naturally acted as the secretly manipulative Kim Moo-young, and all the mysteries behind him. “Squad 38” is a drama about a task force team who worked hard to collect all the taxes from wealthy business men who refused to pay their taxes. In order to do that, they teamed up with a con man to “force” all the wealthy people who don’t want to pay their taxes. Seo In-guk played as Yang Jung-do, the con man that came up with the con ideas.
Along with Baek Sung-il, the team leader who is portrayed by Ma Dong-seok, and Chun Sung-hee, the team member who is portrayed by Choi Soo-young, who is a former member of SNSD, they all teamed up to collect the taxes by performing scams.
If you are interested by the idea, you might as well get interested by Yang Jung-do’s character here. He was the genius guy who came up with a lot of scam ideas that successfully tricked everyone who avoided their taxes. Before he joined the team, he scammed the team leader, Baek Sung-il, and got people wondering whether he is a good guy or not. Should they trust him, or was Yang Jung-do trying to get something, secretly?
