Secrets of Women: A Ballerina and Her Struggle In Life
Let’s start with a synopsis of the drama! The story is about Kang Ji-yoo (played by So Yi-hyun). She used to be a ballerina, until she was involved in an traffic accident which left her in a coma for almost five years. As a result, she also lost all of her memories, including her memory of her boyfriend, Yoo Kang-woo (played by Oh Min-suk), an heir of the Moseong Group.
During her coma, she was found by Cha Seo-rin (played by Kim Yoon-seo) and taken to a nursing home. Her real name was Hong Sun-bok, but she changed her name into Cha Seo-rim right after Kang Ji-yoo’s traffic accident. After Kang Ji-yoo woke up from her coma, she was looking for an occupation to help her family, since they’re running out of money after paying for Kang Ji-yoo’s five years of hospital treatments. She starts working as a nurse for the chairman of the Moseong Group, Yoo Man-ho, who’s also Yoo Kang-woo’s father. Due to her amnesia, she didn’t remember anything about that family’s identity, including her past boyfriend, Yoo Kang-woo.
Actually, Cha Seo-rin saved Kang Ji-yoo for certain reasons. She used to be Kang Ji-yoo’s best friend when they were in high school, but somehow Cha Seo-rim was turned into Kang Ji-yoo’s enemy. Cha Seo-rim was a rape survivor, and she was raped on the orders of Byeon Il-goo (played by Lee Young-bum), one of the executives in the Moseong Group.
Byeon Il-goo also wants Cha Seo-rim to help him become one of the biggest stockholders in the Moseong Group, which also turns her into an enemy for Kang Ji-yoo during the process. Turns out, Cha Seo-rim was also envious with Kang Ji-yoo’s life, and wanted to take everything she had.
Somehow, Cha Seo-rim married with Yoo Kang-woo, because she claimed that she had his child. Meanwhile, the child actually belonged to So Yi-hyun and Yoo Kang-woo, and Cha Seo-rin stole the child during Kang Ji-yoo’s coma. Cha Seo-rim did that for a kind of a revenge, due to her rape case in the past. Meanwhile, Kang Ji-yoo also wanted to learn the truth about her five-year coma through her occupation as a nurse in Moseong Group’s chairman family.

In the last episodes of Secrets of Women, there’s a scene where Kang Ji-yoo and Chae So-rim were sitting next to each other. Kang Ji-yoo reminded her of their first encounter when they were young, adding that it was a good memory for her. She also called Chae So-rim by her real name, Hong Sun-bok. Chae So-rim remained silent, and only looking at her with teary eyes.
Then Kang Ji-yoo was walking around alone, recalling all of the memories she got back from her amnesia. She remembered her spouse, her father, her child, even her fight with Chae So-rim. Happily, the scenes ended with Kang Ji-yoo meeting her child and her spouse, Yoo Kang-woo. They walked around together, happily.
