Let’s Find Out More About The Longest-Running Variety Show In South Korea Aired On SBS – Running Man

Running Man is the longest-running South Korean variety show on SBS. The first episode of Running Man was aired on July 11th, 2010. The show that aired every Sunday night was originally starring Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Seok-jin, Kim Jong-kook, Ha Dong-hoon (Ha Ha), Kang Gary, Song Ji-hyo, Lee Kwang-soo, and Song Joong-ki. At that time, as the name suggests, the eight of them had a mission that required a lot of physical activities such as running.

But over time, Running Man began to change the concept of the program by prioritizing daily activities, light play, the lives of the stars and the participation of star families. The substitution player ensued. In 2012, Running Man had to lose Song Joong-ki who opted out due to shooting schedule problems. The program then continued with seven members.

In 2016, Running Man had to lose another member, Kang Gary. The member who became a couple with Song Ji-hyo, known as the Monday Couple, chose to focus on his career as a singer. Running Man started to ‘rebuild’ public trust by including Jeon So-min and Yang Se-chan as new members in April 2017.

In this article, Channel-Korea will tell you about everything fun on the ninth anniversary of the SBS variety show, Running Man. So, stay tuned!

Concept

The flow of the fan meeting uses the concept of Running Man, where at the end of the event the members have to guess the spy who is carrying out the mission of the producer and director. After that, Running Man members will be given instructions about the spy if their appearance exceeds 120 decibels. Do not forget the opening time, they were given a mission to choose one of the boxes including clothes with their pictures of Ji Suk-jin.
