Ryu Jun-yeol and Girls Day’s Hyeri’s Romance
Actor Ryu Jun-yeol and Girls Day Hye-ri met each other while filming Reply 1988 in 2015. Even though at the and of the drama, Dukseon (Lee Hye-ri) didn’t choose Kim Jung-hwan (Ryu Jun-yeol), in real life, it was quite the opposite.
After being friends, the two developed deep feelings for each other and finally decided to take their relationship further and become a couple. On August 16th, 2017, both Ryu Jun-yeol’s agency (C-JeS Entertainment) and Hye-ri’s agency (DreamT Entertainment) confirmed the report and shared that the relationship was still quite new, and asked of everyone to watch over them warmly.
Ryu Jun-yeol, who plays a low-level drug dealer and a police informant in the criminal action movie Believer, in an interview in May 2018 shared his thoughts and experience about filming the movie and his current situation. He also showed his shy love toward his lover, Hye-ri. Even though the two have been in a relationship for a while, Ryu Jun-yeol is still shy when people ask him about his girlfriend. He was asked about Hye-ri’s opinion of the movie, and he answered shyly, “She hasn’t watched the movie, but I’m also curious about her opinion.” He was also asked about Hye-ri’s opinion of his previous movie, Little Forest (2018) to which he replied, “I’m not sure. I should call and ask her if she has watched the movie, first.”
For the upcoming project, Ryu Jun-yeol will act in the films Hit and Run Unit directed by Han Jun-hee, and Battle directed by Won Shin-yun. As for Hyeri, she will play in Dempsey Roll, a boxing comedy-drama film.
