Alphabat is one of the boy groups under Simtong Entertainment formed by nine members. Previously, Alphabet was a duo formed in December 2012 with the title song Hello by Kyumin and Selin under YUB Entertainment. Afterwards, Kyumin came out and Alphabat debuted again with a nine member formation consisting of B:eta, C:ode, D:elta, E:psilon, F:ie, G:amma, H:eta, I:ota, and J:eta.
In November 2013 Alphabat debuted with AB City singles on music show M! Countdown and the following month they released the special Christmas single Surprise Party. Alphabat launched its first mini album titled Attention in February 2014 with the track leader Ttanttara. Then they returned with the second mini-labum Answer in August. In 2017 Alphabat released a song called Get Your Luv with a four member formation, B: eta, E: psilon, G: amma, K: appa.
