It was revealed that Park Si-eun and Jin Tae-hyun were involved in a love affair and were secretly dating for four years before going public. Suddenly, Jin Tae-hyun announced his marriage plan on her social media on December 12, 2014. Jin Tae-hyun was Park’s co-star in the drama Pure Pumpkin Flower.

Jin Tae-hyun stated, “[Si-eun] is my soulmate. I can see it through her mind and soul. No matter how long I date her, for me, she’s as beautiful as when I first met her. She’s very open-minded. Every time I look at our photos, I am always thankful to have a beautiful and sincere life partner. I can not wait to welcome the big day. I’m praying that we are both safe and sound so we can live with each other forever.

Jin Tae-hyun didn’t state the specific time until Park’s management declared on July 2, 2015, that the two will held the wedding at the end of July.

They held the wedding at a small church with a humble concept by just inviting close family and relations. On the wedding day, Park wore a simple A-line white dress with her hair falling down beautifully without any head accessories while Jin Taehyun wore a black suit.

Park Si-eun in Scarlet Heart Ryeo

In the historical drama Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Park played as Lady Hae. Park played as a kind-hearted wife that supported her husband to marry another woman because she was very ill. As her last frame in that drama, the viewers sadly said goodbye to her character due to her short-term appearance. In order to honor her short-term portrayal, she posted a heartbreaking photo at her social media.

The photo shows Lady Hae (herself) and Prince Wang-wook (Kang Ha-neul) with an emotional look. She stated, “I am very grateful to have played Lady Hae. I thank the producer for letting me know acting is fun and happy. I thank the author for making Lady Hae a beautiful woman. Thank you Ha-neul for making me a good sister and I hope you are happy with Hae-soo (IU’s character name).”
