She is working under Namoo Actors entertainment and made her debut with an SK Telecom commercial back in 2005. However, her official acting debut was in 2006 in a sitcom titled High Kick! as Kang Yoo-mi along with other famous actors and actresses, such as Lee Soon-jae, Na Moon-hee, Lee Joon-ha, and many more. The actress is well-known for her goddess look, and she has also starred in many beauty CFs, but in 2010 Park Min-young admitted that she has done plastic surgery during her junior high school years. This was revealed in an interview with Sports Chosun.

In the interview, the actress admitted to having done an eyelid and nose job during junior high school. She confessed that she wasn’t confident enough about some features of her face so she decided to undergo plastic surgery, “I got double eyelid surgery in junior high school. My mom let me get it so I could become prettier. I also got my nose done, but that’s only because my nose was crooked during junior high,” the actress stated.
After her confession about her plastic surgery experience, a lot of feedback came from netizens, especially K-netz, some of which was positive and some negative. “I don’t think it’s a bad idea to truthfully admit something as it is.
