After successfully making their debut on October 20th, 2015, TWICE then released their second EP titled Page Two. Page Two is TWICE’s second EP that was released on April 25th, 2016. The extended play or EP consists of seven songs with one song only being available on the physical album. The main title for Page Two is “Cheer Up,” and the other six songs are “Precious Love,” “Touchdown,” “Tuk Tok,” “Woohoo,” “My Headphones On,” and “I’m Gonna Be a Star.”
Story Behind Page Two by TWICE
TWICE first teased their comeback by releasing a group picture of them wearing cheerleading outfits in an empty stadium. The picture teaser was released on April 5th, 2016, through TWICE’s SNS account. It also revealed that the comeback date would be on April 25th, 2016, and the words “Cheer Up” were included in the picture. The title for TWICE’s second EP was then released on April 12th, 2016, with the title Page Two and “Cheer Up” being the main title.
The highlight album for Page Two was released on April 24th, 2016, and includes snippets from all tracks on Page Two including the track that was released on the physical album. For the highlight medley, you can listen to the video below.
The Production of Page Two by TWICE
Like their debut song, this time, TWICE also partnered with Black Eyed Pilseung as the producer for their main title “Cheer Up.” Page Two has various genres including dance-pop, tropical house, hip hop, drum and bass, and pop ballad. Not only working with Black Eyed Pilseung but TWICE also worked with Park Jin Young or J.Y.Park for the track on their EP. For other tracks, TWICE worked with several producers and composers that helped them to make the songs live up to TWICE’s image.

Just like their debut album The Story Begins, TWICE’s second EP also gained commercial success and sold over 150,000 copies in September 2016. Not only that but TWICE also topped several streaming music charts.
