In the drama Legend of The Blue Sea, she played the role of Ahn Jin-joo, a rich woman but never satisfied with her wealth. She was the supporting role in this drama where the woman she hired as the help in her house happened to be the lost mother of the lead actor. The drama that starred Lee Min-ho and Jun Ji-hyun, was so popular with a combination of historical and mermaid-related fiction stories.

Moon So-ri and Park Hyun-sik first met each other at the wedding of Song Hye-kyo and Song Jung-ki. They finally worked together in the movie Juror 8. The sweet interaction between them happened when Park Hyung-sik called her noona. Noona is a term for an older sister or an older female friend. Despite his young age, Moon So-ri was surprised that Park Hyung-sik addressed her with such a close expression. She felt thankful and glad.
