Who still remembers Luhan? Yup, Luhan is a former member of the boy-group EXO from South Korea and its sub-group EXO-M. Lu-Han joined EXO in 2011 and then, on October 10, 2014, Luhan filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment to cancel his contract and effectively leave EXO, and he officially left the group.
A year after leaving EXO, he announced his first single in July 2015. He collaborated with the famous producer Djemba Djemba and, for the first time, Djemba Djemba produced an album from an Asian artist. In September, it was announced that Luhan was playing a role in Shanghai Fortress, a science fiction film that would come with Shu Qi. The film was adapted from the 2006 novel Once Upon a Time in Shanghai and will be released in 2019.
Luhan officially became China’s Star Wars Ambassador in 2015. In 2015 and 2016, Luhan appeared on the cover of more than 20 magazines. He became the first Chinese celebrity to be on the covers of Elle China, GQ Style, Forbes China, Harper’s Bazaar and Cosmopolitan. Luhan was also endorsing KFC, and now he’ll be a brand ambassador for L’Oréal Men’s cosmetics products.
