Nana is a member of the group After School, formed by Pledis Entertainment in 2009, and many believe she has the best body in the group. She has a slim waist, ideal height, long legs, and a perfect body shape. In fact, many people say that if she wasn’t an idol, she’d probably be a model.

Because of her good body shape, she’s been in several advertisements and has been on the covers for several well-known magazines. Reported from Soompi, when asked how she maintains her figure, she replied, “I always perform strength exercises and inner therapy. I also make sure I’m careful about what I eat.” She continued, “After eating, I take Garcinia and I feel my body become lighter. Even when I eat late at night or not to exercise, I’m still able to digest everything. When I don’t have time to exercise while filming, “Roommate,” I just do some yoga or stretch.”

Nana revealed, “At first, I would work out and adjust my diet for my figure, but it’s not like that anymore. I realized that if I wanted a beautiful body, then my health would have to come first. I think if you work on being healthy, your figure will follow naturally.”

When asked about her current fitness routine, she answered, “I’ve been getting personal training every day without rest. Honestly, you can maintain your figure by going three times a week, but if I don’t work out then my body would feel under the weather. No matter how late my schedule ends, I would go to the gym and workout. Because of this, my trainer would sometimes be annoyed at me.”


Just like Nana, Kahi is the oldest member of After School and also has an ideal body shape. Kahi is famous for her very defined abs. Kahi always keeps her diet and always works out to keep her body shape slim and ideal. “I eat bananas and Americano or yogurt for breakfast, one-third rice bowls with fish and seaweed for lunch. For dinner, celery, one-third serving of peppers and one boiled egg,” she said.

However, since conceiving, she didn’t care as much about her weight, she only focused on the health of her baby and consumed anything that is good for herself and the baby she was carrying. After giving birth, she underwent several activities to restore her original body shape.

In her Instagram account, she wrote, “45 days since I gave birth. I started training at home after giving birth and I started Pilates a week ago. Before I got pregnant, I was having a body so I took care of it well, but when it changed during pregnancy, I was a little sad. But luckily my recovery has been fast and my condition has been good so I was able to start exercising fast and my figure is coming back. Since I’m breastfeeding, I’m not overdoing anything, and I’m also getting a treatment for my pelvis and shoulders, which have widened over my pregnancy. When will I be able to wear my old pants. I am taking good care of my diet and eating when I need to. Anyways, exercise needs to be a part of daily life.”

EXID’s Hani

Hani is a member of the girl group EXID, formed by Banana Culture, which debuted in 2012. Hani is the member with the highest portion of food among the other members of her group, but she can still maintain her ideal body shape. This is how she keeps her body shape: “I only eat one meal in a day and no salt,” she said. She also revealed that she only eats pretzels when she is dieting, but she said that she really likes to eat meat like intestines. She also confessed that she can eat three servings of meat by herself. She added, “I really like the intestines. I would eat whatever I want and usually eat marinated grilled beef intestines.”

In making a comeback, Hani always tried to lose weight and make her body more ideal, she said “I only have a little. After losing almost 20 pounds (9kg), my face looked ill, so I gained 4-6 pounds (2-3 kg) back.”  She also has a slightly muscular body. The hani is revealed to be a complex muscle that is too easy, and thus it is necessary to always massage the whole body right after a workout session. Also, Hani used to be a triathlete in high school, and has been involved in sports ever since she was a child, which may explain why it’s so easy for her body to build muscle.


Hwasa is a member of the girl-group MAMAMOO, formed by RBW (former WA Entertainment) in 2014. Hwasa is the youngest member in the group and, besides having very exotic skin, she also has one of the best bodies in MAMAMOO. Although Hwasa has an ideal body shape, some people still underestimate and ridicule Hwasa’s appearance.

She said, “Because I have had the same personality, from my perspective, I have always been the same person, before debuting and up until now. And all of a sudden, people starting to form this opinion about me. But also at the same time, I understand why people feel uncomfortable when they look at me.” When asked about what diet she uses to keep her shape, Hwasa only answers that there is no special diet and she eats whatever she wants. She shares her diet tips and explained, “As a person who really loves food, it’s very hard to restrain myself. So when I get hooked on one food, I eat it as much as I want so there will be no regrets. I start working out hard when I start getting a little tired of that menu.”

Red Velvet’s Seulgi

Seulgi is a member of Red Velvet, which was formed by SM Entertainment and debuted in 2014. Since her debut with Red Velvet, Seulgi has become known for having an ideal body shape with defined abs, thanks to the workout she does.

When asked about how she kept her body shape, Seulgi jokingly said, “I do the breathing exercise.” She said, “I became so much that my body became accustomed to, so even if I exercise a little bit of gain muscles and I don’t really gain any weight even when I eat a lot.” Whenever she wants to eat it, she eats it, if there is nothing scheduled. Seulgi also revealed that she was on an extreme diet, only having a glass of soy milk right before her debut with Red Velvet.

TWICE’s Tzuyu

Tzuyu is a member of the girl group TWICE, formed by JYP Entertainment in 2015. Tzuyu is known for being the slimmest of all the members in her group and having the smallest waist. She is very concerned about eating patterns and doing workouts to maintain her body shape.

Before her debut, she really did an extreme diet with continuous workouts until she was starving and she only ate fruits, ate once a day, and did not consume rice. However, after debuting with TWICE, Tzuyu had a healthy diet and works out regularly.
