In that project, they collaborated on a song that Lee recorded to support animal shelters.
Actually, it was revealed that Lee Hyo-ri and Lee Sang-soon almost never started dating, because their first impression of each other was not very pleasant, as they first met on a blind date. They almost went their separate ways feeling that their characters are completely opposite of each other. Nevertheless, they started dating two years after they first meet.
A Famous Guitarist and Producer in Korea
As mentioned before, Lee Sang-soon is a guitarist of the Korean band with the name Roller Coaster. Roller Coaster was introduced as an acid jazz band when they appeared on TV around 1999. But, if you check online you’ll see that the band’s music ranges from a modern rock group to funk music band that consists of three members, Jo Won-sun, Jinu (currently known as Hitchhiker), and Lee Sang-soon.
Lee Sang-soon has played a lot of guitar sessions for various artists’ albums, such as 길가에 버려지다 (Abandoned On the Streets) by Dream Factory (Ft. Jeon In Kwon, Lee Hyori & Lee Seung Hwan), 기억해 (Remember) by Lee Hyori, 청춘 (Those Days) by Kim Dong-ryul, and 너에게 (To You) by Yoona. And in 2018, exactly on March 4th, he released a song titled “Again.” You can see the music video below.
As a producer, Lee Sang-soon succeeded in producing the variety show Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast, or also known as Hyori’s Homestay. The show airs on JTBC channel. Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast first aired in 2017 and released season two in February 2018. This show is a combination of reality and variety show.
The show’s shooting location was in Lee Sang-soon and Lee Hyori’s home in Jeju Island and it became the main reason why you should watch it as the atmosphere in the environment is quite comfortable and relaxing. Also, you can see some popular artists, like Yoona and Park Bo-gum in this show. So, the show is really worth watching!
How Much is Lee Sang-soon’s Net Worth?
Well, actually there is no detailed information on how much is Lee Sang-soon’s net worth. But, in 2014 in an interview, Lee Hyo-ri once mentioned that Lee Sang-soon has lower income than her. But, it does not matter to Hyori.
She even said she is proud of him because he does not feel inferior just because he earns less. Lee Hyori has never had issues with her husband’s income. She is also willing to live with men who don’t have money, as long as they don’t feel inferior, like Lee Sang-soon. But, as Lee Sang-soon has become more popular now, maybe he could be earning more.
Latest Project and News
The very last project of his (well, actually, this doesn’t really sound like a project), is he and his wife, Lee Hyori, attending IU’s Concert, Dlwlrma – Curtain Call in Jeju. In that concert, Lee Sang-soon sang “Again,” which he made along with Lee Hyori. After that performance, IU, Lee Sang-soon, and Lee Hyo-ri talked a little about IU’s appearance in Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast.
The latest news from him is from 2018 when he and his wife sold their house in Sogil-ri, Jeju Island. The couple moved there permanently after tying the knot in 2013. However, since moving in, the couple has appealed time and again to visitors to stop visiting their house and ringing the doorbell to speak to them.
In 2016, they reportedly moved out of the house as they could no longer bear the incessant disturbance. However, in 2017, it seems like they moved back to the house, which became the primary filming site for the reality TV show Hyori’s Bed & Breakfast, which sees the singer and her husband playing hosts to Jeju tourists and turning their house into a bed and breakfast facility.
After the show aired, Sang-soon posted a message on his Facebook page. The message contains a plea for people to stop treating their house as a tourist attraction, ringing the bell and taking photos and videos of them leaving the house. As seen on the show, their dogs start barking whenever people rang the doorbell. Of course, we can imagine how annoying it must have been if the bell was ringing all day.
