Public relationships aren’t all that common in the Korean Entertainment Industry, however, Lee Ah-hyun opted out of the mainstream choice and made her wedding publicly known. In 1997, only three years after her debut in the drama Daughter of a Rich Family (1994), Lee Ah-hyun tied the knot with fellow actor, Choi Jae-wook. Their marriage, however, did not last very long. The couple broke it off after only spending three years together.

In 2006, six years after her divorce with Choi Jae-wook, came a happy news from the life of Lee Ah-hyun. Precisely on the 20th of May 2006, Lee Ah-hyun tied the knot once again with Lee In Gwang (이인광). They disclosed that they first met two years prior and developed feelings for each other. The marriage of the talented actress with the representative of Star M Planning was held at Grand Hyatt Hotel Grand Ball Room (그랜드 하얏트호텔그랜드볼룸)” of Seoul.

Their marriage however was also short lived. After spending five years together, the couple divorced in 2011. From her two marriages Lee Ah-hyun nurtured two kids, both of them as she had disclosed, were adopted.
