Lee Ah-hyun, born in Seoul, South Korea, made her debut in 1994 through KBS2’s drama Daughter of a Rich Family. Her role as Kwon So-ryung led to her recognition in the entertainment industry by taking home the trophy for Best New Actress at the 1994 KBS Drama Awards.
Although having a bright starting career and starring in more than five dramas throughout the nineties, her fanbase only grew larger in the early 2000’s. Lee Ah-hyun’s following grew in size due to her role in Wild Flower, My Name is Kim Sam Soon/My Lovely Kim Sam Soon and Only You, which she all starred in 2005.
Up until 2018, the 46 year old actress has starred in more than twenty titles of dramas. Out of all the characters she had portrayed, she is best known for her roles in Bang Ja Chronicles (2011), The Queen’s Classroom (2013) and Tomorrow’s Cantabile (2014).
