Park Jun-gyu’s Family

drama beans

Actor Park Jun-gyu while making his debut as a theatrical director also has numerous busy days while working full-time on films and dramas as well as being an entertainer.

In one instance, he was interviewed about his recent work and how well he was juggling the work load and life balance. He said he is a family man and likes to spend a lot of quality time with his family.

All his talk on being a family man was proven when he had spent his 20th wedding anniversary with his wife, Jin Song-ah overseas. They chose Bali, Indonesia to be the special place to spend their special day. “As I was in Bali during my 20th wedding anniversary, I wanted to do something special for my wife, and I prepared a wedding for Remind as a special event.”

Jun-gyu shared his thoughts about marriage programs on TV and why he doesn’t want to  join it. “It is not suitable for me to do it. Sometimes when someone appears in a marriage program, it seems like the romance itself is getting far away, and a divorced couple is coming out. This is one of the reasons for not appearing in a marriage program.”

He continued, “I think that the internet or broadcasting media of my country is reporting wrong about the couple. I think it is one of the programs that I can not understand even in the case of ‘MyPet’. I think that it is the husband and wife to do the housework together and to share the opinions with each other in the situation where the husband is respected.”

As an actor, he also works as businessman. He said, “I met my first good relationship and started a paprika business and a potato restaurant. I think the biggest reason to start a business is that I do not need to be hungry for the art I think of. I think I can do everything well enough. I started my business hoping to solve hunger rather than becoming rich by making money.”

Then he continued, “The very most important thing for me is my family. I always live in my heart with the motto “My family keeps me safe.” I can do anything for my family because it is a part of my family that I can not take care of. It is one of the reasons why it shows up candidly in the business, various arts, broadcasting, drama and so on to feed the family comfortably.”

Such a great role model, a good husband and father, a talented actor, and a successful businessman! Wishing the best and happiness for Jun-gyu and family!
