Since its first opening, the pop-up store has been fulfilled with a lot of ARMYs, even foreign tourists and foreign ARMYs have crossed the world just to visit the BTS pop-up store.

The pop-up store is called House of BTS and is located at 34 Gangnam-daero 102-gil, Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. And also, it has been open from October 18th, 2019 to January 5th, 2020, which is around 80 days. From the outside to the inside of the store, we can see that the store was dominated by the pink color, just like the theme of one of the BTS albums: Map of The Soul: Persona.

Overall, the House of BTS has several floors. On the first floor, they had all of the BTS merchandise on display, and there was also an AR kiosk which also made the fans able to take a picture or video while dancing with BTS members’ cartoon versions. Next, moving to the second and third floor, there were some interactive showrooms and the fans could feel as though they were inside the BTS music video.

The House of BTS was also open in other countries, such as the Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Osaka ones in Japan, during December 2019.

TWICE’s pop-up store was located in Hongik-ro, Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea. But the store wasn’t permanent, it operated from November to December 2017. And for your information, TWICE’s pop-up store was also launched in Singapur for several months as well.

The reasons why JYP Entertainment opened up the store in Hongdae (a short name for Hongik-ro) was that Hongdae has been famously known as the popular place for tourists and hipsters; it’s also famously known as the fashion place as well, and through the atmosphere in Hongdae, we can see a lot of street musicians, fashion stores, and a lot more.

And obviously, the store was selling all of the official TWICE merchandise. The pop-up store was decorated with pink colors, with TWICE’s logo everywhere. And at that time, if a customer made a purchase of over 10.000 WON (around $10.00), they would get a chance to win a free entry ticket for TWICE’s fan meeting.

The new boy group from SM Entertainment, Super M, also opened its pop-up store in October 2019. The pop-up store was launched both in South Korea and the USA. In South Korea, the pop-up store was located in SM Celebrity Center, Apgujeong-dong, Seoul, South Korea. Meanwhile, in the USA, the pop-up store was located at the Walk of Fame, 7080 Hollywood Boulevard.

Through the Super M pop-up store, the fans were able to buy a lot of the official merchandise from Super M.
