Find Out Some K-Pop Idol Workout Routines That You Can Try!
Many K-pop stars have excellent body shapes. K-pop stars are among the fittest and disciplined individuals when it comes to taking care of their health and bodies, and they are often praised for their talent, beauty, and good looks. They have their own exercise schedule and special diets. Idols also exercise to maintain physical strength and stamina in order to handle their extremely demanding schedules and lifestyles which are normally packed with tours and performances. Many K-pop idols also do workout routines in order to keep their body in shape.
In this article, Channel-Korea will show you some of the exercises and workout routines that are done by K-pop idols that you might be interested in trying!
List of K-Pop Boy Group Workout Routines
Gym work and bodyweight exercises are popular in the workouts of male K-pop idols. Without further ado, watch some of your favorite male K-pop stars, including BTS’s Jungkook, GOT7’s Jackson, and others, go through workout routines that you might be able to do at home!
BTS’s Jungkook’s Workout
Jungkook from BTS has a really great body. He revealed that he does 240 push-ups a day during the 50th Anniversary of RUN. Through a post on social media, he revealed that his daily workout routine is like this: 20 squats, 20 push-ups, 20 jump squats, 20 shoulder exercises, 10 plank shoulder blades, 20 mountain climbers, 15 burpees, 20 crunches, 20 leg raises, and 20 superman exercises.

- Yes, it used to be really easy for me though (I was in the military & I was used to these workouts). For losing weight, 80% has to do with your diet & 20% is exercise.
- I think that the singer released his workout routine recently. It consists of a series of exercises which includes squats, burpees, crunches and leg raises. He seems to be doing a set of 15-20 repetitions of each movement. Since Jungkook’s workout routine does not require heavy weights, it is rather easy to do.
I miss having open gyms but BTS workout routines do really help you. I recommend you change up your routine so you can help the muscle to keep growing. Also, try learning choreographies! They are amazing for cardio! “Fire” is the easiest to learn! so you can catch it up by your own, but you still sweat a lot!

SEVENTEEN’s DK and Seungkwan’s Home Training
On January 3, 2020, SEVENTEEN uploaded a video with Seungkwan and DK on it. It’s in an episode of one of SEVENTEEN’s segments called “INSIDE SEVENTEEN” with the title “INSIDE SEVENTEEN – DK and Seungkwan’s Home Training.” It shows Seungkwan and DK going to a gym to acknowledge and surpass themselves. They said that they’ve been doing workouts lately, and they were going to do a 4-minute ab workout.
Seungkwan and DK did a 4-minute ab workout with a reference video of Allblanc’s 4 minute Tabata videos. Their home training is like this: start with side planks, bicycle crunches, mountain climbers, plank twists, crunch variations, arm walking push-ups, push-ups and rotations, wide squats and lunges, jumping jacks, burpees and knee-ups, good mornings and rows, plank jacks, and ending with high pitches.
Fans responded with “THESE TWO OMG SO CUTE HAHAHAHAHHA,” “wow, they gave me motivation to start stretching for my dance class,” “Exactly what I needed today uwu thank you,” “Seventeen‘s friendship is one of the most genuine ones,” etc.

NCT’s Johnny’s Workout
On April 3, 2020, Johnny along with Taeyong and Yuta did a home training exercise on their Vlive. He said that he found it boring to work out alone so he brought the members to work out together. Johnny started the Live with, “I believe you’ve been staying at home lately. I haven’t been to a gym recently, so I started home training.”
Johnny, along with Yuta and Taeyong, started the workout by stretching and continued with bodyweight workouts like push-ups, wider push-ups, crunches, leg raises, plank holds, etc. Fans can try the home training by Johnny and follow the instructions easily since Johnny explained it slowly.

WayV’s Workout Routine + Exercise Tips
WayV is a Chinese boy group that is produced by SM Entertainment’s sub-label, Label V, and acts as the fourth sub-unit and China-based unit of NCT. WayV consists of 7 members. On April 16, 2020, WayV through their official YouTube channel uploaded a vlog titled “[WayV-log] Let’s Workout Together! (Difficulty level:★★★★★).” During the opening video, there is a notice stating, “This video was shot to stay healthy. It’s not for expert teaching, so enjoy it. Never try the dangerous moves.”
Ten said that they should warm up and stretch at the start. They did jumping jacks first as Ten recommend and followed with high pitches. The members followed the instructions well. As written in the opening, the exercise was full of jokes from the members and some entertaining moves. However, the workout exercise that they were doing was jumping jacks, high pitches, jumping push-ups, stretching, squats, side planks, etc.

WayV’s Kun also shared diet tips, stating, “Like I previously said, eat regular foods and exercise. Three or four days a week, run eight kilometers in the morning and eight kilometers at night. Then it will work. It’s as simple as that. I’ve tried going on a diet before using this method.”
GOT7’s Jackson’s Workout During Their Tour
GOT7’s Jackson has a great muscular body. He is one of the male K-pop idols who are praised for his physique. He works out with weights to exercise his muscles and runs on the treadmill for cardio. He works out as much as he can and balances his workouts with a nutritious diet. Even during their tour, Jackson and his fellow members went to gyms to do some exercises. Jackson did pull-ups first. Then, he continued with other bodyweight exercises.
