KARD’s Singapore Concert
In Asia, KARD was planned to visit several cities. They had finished their previous world tour in America, South America and Europe successfully, and now it was their turn to meet their fans from Asia. Starting from Bangkok, Thailand on January 19th, then headed to Singapore on January 21st. They moved on to Taipei, Taiwan on February 2nd, Hong Kong, China on February 4th, and lastly stopping at Manila, Phillippines on February 9th. For the venue, KARD performed their tour in Zepp @ Big Box.
Again, the Asia tour has happened thanks to fans submitting their requests on the ‘My Music Taste‘ website. The online vote was seen as a positive sign for KARD to expand their wings into Asia.
KARD’s USA Tour
Wild KARD Tour in America had several parts. There were Wild Tour America pt 1 and 2, while they also visited South America in 2 parts too. In the first part of their USA tour, the group had visited 3 big cities; Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles – then moved to Canada and Brazil after that.
It seems it is not enough for KARD to only visit those cities, while overflowing enthusiasm from fans invoke them to expand their tour schedule. Not long after the first part, KARD officially announced that they marched their tour into another 5 big cities in the States. They are Minneapolis, Washington D.C., New York, Miami, and San Francisco. Starting from Minneapolis on September 15th at State Theater, and will end in San Francisco on October 8th at The Warfield. The ticket price started from $55 with the highest at $175.
KARD Concert in Washington DC
On September 17th in Warner Theater, KARD embarked their first greeting to Washington DC. They performed their songs and also some cover songs along with catchy moves and Q&A session.
One Hallyu blog got a chance from SubKulture Entertainment to cover the show. “The show started out with a dramatic intro clip and the crowd went wild! They went even wilder once KARD appeared on stage. KARD started the fan meeting by performing the English version of their, in my opinion, breakout pre-debut song Don’t Recall. They hyped up the crowd with a solid performance and sang Oh Na Na right after. Danny Lim, the MC for the last tour, returns again this tour and gave a nice introduction after the performance of these two songs. As KARD takes a break from the performances, we go on to the Q&A session which is hosted by Danny as well.”
After a short Q&A with Danny, KARD performed a bunch of covers, starting with Eminem’s The Monster featuring Rihanna. Jiwoo, BM and J.Seph were doing Eminem’s rap lines, while Somin covered Rihanna. Then, they changed their outfits and came up with their latest song back then I Can’t Stop, and sang Bruno Mars’ Versace on the floor, Ariana Grande’s Side to Side, and another cover from Jay Z and Alicia Keys Empire State of Mind.
