The Best Advertisement Model
The final mission was to find the best advertising model. Round 1 was a jeans-model face-off. Kang Gary was overly confident despite his unfavorable jeans that made his legs look shorter, and he won the first round. Jang Hyuk with his hip-hop style jeans won the battle against Lee Kwang-soo with his skinny jeans.
In the final match, Kang Gary’s product was a wash towel and Jang Hyuk’s product was cosmetics. They both did great, and the judging was difficult. However, Jang Hyuk won the final battle and Yoo Jae-suk’s team became the winner. All the employees who voted for Yoo Jae-suk, Ji Seok-jin, Jang Hyuk, and Song Ji-hyo received a special bonus from the CEO.
Latest Appearance in 2018
After more than six years, Jang Hyuk made a special appearance in Running Man episode 385 which aired on January 14, 2018. He was called by Kim Jong-kook and Ji Seok-jin who had a mission to find a celebrity who was born in December. Kim Jong-kook asked if they could go visit him and play a game together. To that, Jang Hyuk answered that if they came to him, he would because they had each other’s back. However, he was nervous and asked what he would be doing. He added that Running Man made him worried because he was playing a charismatic lawyer.
After Jang Hyuk joined Kim Jong-kook and Ji Seok-jin, he said that when he goes on shows that involve his friends like Kim Jong-kook, Cha Tae-hyun, and Hong Kyung-in, he knew that he will embarrass himself and just goes with it. He was laughing in disbelief when he knew the game. Kim Jong-kook and Ji Seok-jin negotiated the game for his image but failed.
The game was to blow into plastic bottles with their noses, and the team that unflattens the bottles first win. Jang Hyuk was by himself. Meanwhile, Kim Jong-kook and Ji Seok-jin were a team. In the end, the winner was Kim Jong-kook and Ji Seok-jin because there was still a flattened bottle at Jang Hyuk’s side, and they won 20 ddakjis.
