
Im Ji-kyu is a South Korean actor who debuted under Blue Dragon Entertainment. His popularity rose after he starred in the indie films “Who’s That Knocking at My Door?”, “Milky Way Liberation Front”, and “Magic”. After that, he is also best known for playing supporting roles in the television romantic comedies “Queen of Reversals” and “The Greatest Love”.

Im Ji-kyu Talks About His Wife and Son

Im Ji-kyu married his girlfriend of 4 years, Park Ye-son. They first met at church back in 2010. They finally held a small, private wedding in Seoul on May 17, 2014. Park Ye-son was revealed to be a beautiful, accomplished young lady specializing in law. During the promotion of “It’s Time to Love” in 2013, Lim Ji-kyu proposed to her in public. He is known for often bringing his girlfriend to accompany him in interviews or talk shows.
They met again at an event and came to play the piano accompaniment. And after the event was over, they ate together and he asked, “What is your name?” After that, Im ji-kyu knew that he wanted to get closer. But their relationship did not go smoothly, as his wife’s father objected to it because of the 12 year age difference between them.
On MBC’s program “Human Documentary People is Good”, they talked about their newborn son who was still 3 months old at that time. They said that their son was not given a name yet as they were still considering the most suitable name. Im Ji-kyu said that he wanted to give his son a unique name but his wife want a good name.

In the same program, Im Ji-kyu also revealed that he still misses his sister who died nine years ago. He said that when he comes back to his hometown, he and his family miss her so much. His sister is very lovable, and had a stable job back then.
