There are nine tracks that are the same as the digital release, and also there are four additional tracks specially made for the physical release. Story of “Ice Cream:” Melting Someone’s Heart Like an Ice Cream

Actually, the original title for “Ice Cream” in Korean is “녹아요” (read: nogayo) which means “melts away” or “melting.” So, basically, “Ice Cream” was originally titled “Melting.” The lyric writers for “Ice Cream” were Kim Chang-rak and Han Kyung-soo. Apart from being the lyric writers, both of them also composed and arranged this song with Choi Han-seol and Pink Hound as additional members for the composing and the arranging team.

“Ice Cream” is a track with a very slow beat. This song is about loving someone more than anything else. He/she wants that person’s heart to melt like ice cream by saying words, giving smiles, and telling that person that they love him/her.

MV of “Ice Cream”

There’s no music video released for “Ice Cream.” The only music video that is available from the Lane 2 album is for “Knock Knock” and “TT” as the lead single from the Lane 1 album, the original one.

“Ice Cream” Performance: Performed Four Times From March 2017 Until March 2021

Twice members performed “Ice Cream” several times in one of their concerts and their fan meeting. Their first performance was when they did their fan meeting in Parn Studio on March 12th, 2017.

Their second performance was when they held their first concert ever, called Twiceland– The Opening. They performed this song at The Opening encore concert on June 17th until 18th, 2019, at Jamsil Arena, Seoul, South Korea. Because there’s no choreography made for “Ice Cream,” the members performed this song at the fan meeting while sitting or while waving to Onces and walking around the stage at the concert.
