Hong Soo-hyun is a South Korean actress and model. This 37 year old artist began her modeling career in the late 1990s. Having debuted as a magazine model in high school, Hong appeared in a Johnson & Johnson commercial in 1996, but soon decided that she wanted to act as well. Her first acting job came in 1999 when she appeared on the television series Kaist.

In 2000, she appeared in her first film, which was called Bungee Jumping of Their Own. Her role was a large one, and the film was incredibly successful. In 2001, she appeared on the show Delicious Proposal. The show, which featured a romance that spelled trouble, was a hit with fans. Although she only had a small part on the show, the show’s success helped to make Hong a more recognizable actress. Then, in 2003, she had a large role on the popular show Sang Doo! Let’s Go to School.

In 2006, she had a large role in the historical drama show Dae Joyeong. She followed this success by starring in two movies, Fate and Rough Cut, in 2008. In 2009, she appeared on the popular show Temptation of an Angel. Then, in 2011, she had a very successful year. She had large roles in the popular TV dramas Lie to Me and The Princess’ Man. In 2012, she acted in another three successful shows, including ‘History of a Salaryman’. Until now, Hong has been known as an actress by her appearances in numerous TV series and shows, which also gave her many awards. The most popular one is the TV show ‘Roomate’ on SBS which she became the narrator of in 2014.
