Stephanie

Stephanie is a soloist singer under the Mafia Records. Her real name is Kim Bo-kyung (김보경), and she was born in San Diego, California, on October 16, 1987.

Stephanie is a former member of SM Entertainment’s girl-group, The Grace, and she debuted in 2005. Due to an undefined hiatus, Stephanie decided to became a soloist and she became a member of the Los Angeles Ballet. She definitely has a talent for dancing and immediately joined Hit The Stage, making her first appearance on episodes 3-4, where she collaborated with Jang Hyun-seung.

On the next episodes, Stephanie becomes a contestant, herself, on episodes 5-6. The former member of The Grace reached the 7th Rank, with a 149  from the audience and a score of 8 from the judges.

It was Stephanie’s last performance on the show and there were no announcements about why she left the show before the final episode.

Nicole

Nicole was a former member of the South Korean girl-group, KARA, and she became a soloist after leaving the group. Nicole has the real name Jung Nicole (정니콜), and she was born in Los Angeles, California, in October, 1991.

Nicole left her previous group, KARA, from DSP Entertainment, and become a soloist after joining a new agency, B2M Entertainment, in 2014.

Nicole made her first appearance on Hit The Stage on Episode 7,  and it was also her last performance since she didn’t continue to the final episode. She ended up ranked 3rd, with a score of 162 from the audience and a 9 from the judges.

Hyo-yeon (Girls Generation)

Hyo-yeon is a member of the legendary girl-group from SNSD. Her real name is Kim Hyo-yeon (김효연), and she was born in Incheon, South Korea, on September 22, 1989.

Hyo-yeon signed under SM Entertainment, and besides being a member of SNSD, she does work as a DJ and has performed as a soloist, releasing tracks such as Mystery, Wannabe (feat. SanE), Sober (feat. Ummet Ozcan)and her latest track in 2018, Punk Right Now (feat. 3LAU). Hyo-yeon is known as a talented dancer, she’s one of the best female dancers in the K-Pop industry, and no one could beat her skill until now.

On episodes 1-2, Hyo-yeon reached the 5th Rank, earning a 152 from the audience and a 5 from the judges.

Bora (SISTAR)

Bora is a member of SISTAR, which is signed under Starship Entertainment. Her real name is Yoon Bo-ra (윤보라), and she was born in Seoul, South Korea, on December 30, 1989.

Bora debuted with SISTAR in 2010 and become a member of the sub-unit Sistar 19. In 2017, SISTAR disbanded and Bora mostly worked on some advertisements (CFs) or television dramas. She’s well-known for her awesome dancing skill, and eventually made it as a participant on Hit The Stage, coming along with Shownu from the same agency.

On Episodes 1-2, Bora reached the 7th Rank, with a 148 from the audience.

Bora’s final performance was on Episode 7, and it was never made known why she didn’t continue to the final episode. If you watch the full episode of Bora’s last performance, it seemed that she may have injured her back during the dance practice, and that may be why she had to leave the show.

Min (miss A)

Min is a former member of Miss A, and debuted in 2010 under JYP Entertainment. Her real name is Lee Min-young (이민영), and she was born in Seoul, South Korea, on June 21, 1991.

In November, 2017, JYP Entertainment released an official announcement about Min’s departure from Miss A. Despite the sad news, Min has continued her career until now, and she participated on Hit The Stage once, as she only performed on Episode 9.

Min reached between the 4th-7th Rank, with 10 score from the judges.

Mi-joo (Lovelyz)

Mi-joo is a member of Lovelyz, and debuted in 2014 under Woolim Entertainent. Her real name at birth was Lee Mi-joo (이미주), but she changed her legal name to Lee Seung-ah (이승아). She was born in Okcheon Country, North Chungcheong, South Korea, on September 23, 1994.

According to KProfiles, Mi-joo was trained at Seungri’s Dance Academy and appeared on Hit The Stage to show the world that she’s a talented dancer. Mi-joo only performed once, on the 7th episode, where she reached the 6th Rank with a 139 score from the audience.

Eun-jin (DIA)

Eun-jin is a member of DIA, and debuted on 2015 under the label of MBK Entertainment. Her real name as Ahn Eun-jin (안은진), and was born in Mokpo, South Jeolla, South Korea, on August 31, 1997.

Eun-jin was known as the best dancer of DIA and, before her debut, she did cover dances for AOA’s Heart Attack & Short Hair, GOT7’s Stop Stop It and Hyun-A’s Bubble Pop. Unfortunately, a year after Eun-jin participated on Hit The Stage, she officially left the group due to health issues.

Eun-jin only appeared on the show once, to perform with her group-mate from DIA, Chae-yeon, on the 9th episode. She reached between the 4th-7th rank, with a 1 Score from the judges.

Chae-yeon (DIA & I.O.I)

Chae-yeon is a member of DIA, and debuted on 2015 under the label of MBK Entertainment. Her real name is Jung Chae-yeon (정채연), and was born in Suncheon, South Jeolla-do, South Korea, on December 1, 1997.

Chae-yeon only appeared once on the show, and she collaborated with her group-mate, Eun-jin, on episode 9.

Momo (TWICE)

Momo is a member of the South Korean girl-group, TWICE, and debuted in 2015 under JYP Entertainment. Momo (모모) is Japanese and her real name is Hirai Momo (平井 もも). She was born in Kyōtanabe, Kyoto, Japan, on November 9, 1996.

Momo joined a survival show from JYP Entertainment, SIXTEEN, and was eliminated in episode 6, but was added as a member of TWICE anyhow, at the decision of J.Y. Park. Momo is known as one of the best dancers in TWICE, and she immediately joined Hit The Stage.

On Episode 1, Momo reached the 8th Rank with a 144 Score from the audience.

Momo only appeared on the show twice, and she didn’t make to the final episode. There are no further explanations why she left the show.

Chung-ha (I.O.I)

Chung-ha (청하) is a soloist singer, signed under YMC Entertainment. Her real name is Kim Chan-mi (김찬미), and she was born in South Korea, on February 9, 1996.

Chung-ha’s nationality is Korean, but she lived in Dallas, Texas, for 7-8 years. She went to an auditioned for YG Entertainment and was a former trainee under JYP Entertainment & M&H Entertainment. Chung-ha’s training period was about 3 years, 3 months, and she trained in dance for 6-7 years. FYI, Chung-ha was a contestant of Produce 101 season 1, and finished 4th, which led to her debut as a member of I.O.I.

At the time, Chung-ha was really popular for her dance moves. Everyone knows her as the ‘wacking queen’, since the singer who sang for ‘Roller Coaster’, has a great ability to dance in wacking choreography. Chung-ha made her solo debut on June 7, 2017, releasing an EP entitled ‘Hands On Me’.

Chung-ha ‘s first appearance on Hit The Stage was on episodes 3-4, where she collaborated with her fellow I.O.I member, Choi Yoo-jung. She reached the 7th Rank,  with a 136 score from the audience.
