Healer: Introduction and Synopsis
Healer (Hangul: 힐러) tells the story of Seo Jung-hoo who works as a secret messenger. He has the code name Healer because Seo Jung-hoo has never shown his true identity as a reliable secret messenger. Seo Jung-hoo teamed up with a hacker to carry out his work. Healer’s clients are elites who pay high fees for their services.
When a news anchor named Kim Moon-ho uses the services of Seo Jung-hoo, the main conflict in the drama Healer begins. Kim Moon-ho apparently asked Healer to get a DNA sample from Chae Young-shin. But over time, Healer got a new task to spy on Chae Young-shin every day.
Chae Young-shin herself has a dark past. The innocent girl was abandoned by her biological parents near the trash can. Chae Young-shin was then adopted by and lived together with a foster father.
Seo Jung-hoo found out that his past was connected to Chae Young-shin and Kim Moon-ho on the reconnaissance mission. The allegation began when Seo Jung-hoo found past photos of 5 friends who were scattered. The photos later became the starting point of an investigation into his father’s death.
To investigate this, Seo Jung-hoo becomes an intern at Chae Young-shin’s office. That’s where Seo Jung-hoo’s feelings for Chae Young-shin start developing. On the other hand, Seo Jung-hoo aka Healer slowly reveals his past as well as Chae Young-shin and Kim Moon-ho. They are also trying to catch the criminal who was behind the death of her parents.
The Ending of Healer
When a favorite drama ends, the audience hopes that the last episode will provide closure and an explanation of the story that has been still stuck with many unsolved mysterious things that need to be answered. What is interesting is the ending of a story that is difficult to predict, this is the last impression for loyal viewers of this drama.
In the last episode, there was a tense action between the Healer and the accomplices of the ‘Chairman’.
Long story short, Healer got shot by Detective Yoon Dong-won. Healer fell down covered in blood and it took Chae Young-shin by surprise. Viewers think that the end of this story is a sad ending because the main character is killed. But the allegation was refuted when the blood that came out of Healer’s body was fake, and the shooting scene had been engineered thanks to the request of Jo Min-ja, Healer’s fellow hacker who was Yoon Dong-won’s boss.
Of course, the audience calmed down when they saw the happy ending of the story, where we can see Seo Jung-hoo or Healer return to Chae Young-shin’s side.
