We met Han Hyo-joo again in episode 124, which was broadcast on 16 December, 2012. The opening revealed that Han Hyo-joo was the last to wake up among all the cast members, and Yoo Jae-suk joked that she must not be the early bird type. Lee Kwang-soo, who was also around, condemned her, saying “She is lazy.”, to which Han Hyo-joo retorted, “I am diligent!” Her statement was quickly shot down, however, as Kwang-soo said, “What are you talking about?! You woke up last!”. Well, you have a point here.
Before they got breakfast, the cast had to participate in a game: they had to jump successfully in order to eat, which made Han Hyo-joo disappointed, “Wait, so we are not eating first? I am seriously hungry!” Though she failed in her first attempt, Han Hyo-joo managed to jump, and literally ran toward the food. Aww, you can’t keep this lady from eating, because she will always find a way!
The third mission was quite difficult for Han Hyo-joo, as the teams needed to chop firewood with an axe. Despite asking an old man to teach her, Han Hyo-joo barely made a crack on the firewood. Later, Gary told Hyo-joo to trust the weight of the axe, which made the actress throw her hands in the air as if she won something prestigious.
A new match was announced: one of the cast will be able to be the king who rules the entire game. Lee Kwang-soo, who walked in front of Han Hyo-joo, was acclaimed as the king by Myuk PD. A new requirement popped up that the king can be replaced when the cast are able to find their ballots and cast their votes in the poll.
Yoo Jae-suk, who had a ballot elected Han Hyo-joo as the new king. The actress fully embraced her new role as the ruler, “That means I can tear off everyone’s name tags”. Sure you can.
As expected, Han Hyo-joo got her revenge by eliminating the former ruler, Kwang-soo, saying “You fed me fish sauce yesterday!” Afterward, Han Hyo-joo was looking for Kim Jong-kook, which made the other members panic, though the guys insisted that he would be a perfect bodyguard for her. Despite having been warned by the cast that siding with Jong-kook is less helpfull if there are only two of them left ripping the name tags, Han Hyo-joo agreed to Jong-kook’s advice, making him as her servant.
Han Hyo-joo is called back to fulfill her royal duties: string the marbles together. She became impatient when her bodyguard told her that there wan’t much time, “You telling me to hurry up makes it harder for me to string these!” After finishing the marble task, she headed out in search for her bodyguard, Jong-kook, who was being held by Yoo Jae-suk and Go Soo.
On the other hand, Song Ji-hyo cast her vote to pick Jae-suk as the new king, who then ordered Kim Jong-kook to chase his former master. Even so, Kim Jong-kook remained loyal to Han Hyo-joo, letting her escape, to which Han Hyo-joo replied that she felt no regrets, and will never forget the sacrifice her former bodyguard has made on her behalf. Unfortunately, Jae-suk caught up to her easily, and ripped her name tag.
