GOT7’s Debut Song and Debut Date

As some of you probably know already, GOT7 is a seven-member boy group and the first team to debut in six years, after 2PM, under JYP Entertainment. The members consist of JB (leader), Mark, Jackson, Jr. (Jinyoung), Youngjae, Bam Bam, and Yugyeom. Some of them were recruited from different countries, and they are known to be a multinational group with members from South Korea, Thailand, Hong Kong, and the United States.

It goes without saying that GOT7 have experienced considerable success and massive popularity since their official debut on January 16th, 2014. Aside from their Korean promotions, GOT7 was also able to enter the Japanese market. Their first Japanese single, “Around the World,” was released in October 2014. The song peaked at number three on the Oricon Singles Chart and sold 43,170 copies in its three-week run on the chart.
