Unlike other romantic comedies, this drama is tinged with horror and fantasy, with the total of 32 episodes. The drama is about a man and a woman who share an unusual fate: one’s happiness always results in the other’s misfortune.

Circle: Two Worlds Connected is a tvN science-fiction drama starring a number of famous actors and actresses such as Kim Kang-woo, who’s best known for The Missing, Yeo Jin-goo, best known for Moon Embracing the Sun, and Gong Seung-yeon, who’s best known for My Only Love Song. Gikwang plays the main role here. The drama is set in a society where people believe that humans must control and restrict their emotions. The drama pursues two timelines, it takes place in both the year 2017 and the year 2037, with a total of 12 episodes. The drama follows an experimental double-track format where two similar stories from two different timelines are told within one episode. Each episode of the drama, except the last episode, contains two parts. The first part is set in 2017, called “Beta Project”, and the second part is set in 2037, called “A Great New World”. The last episode is called “One World”.

In doing so, he discovers the horrible truth lurking behind Smart City being “crime-free”.
In this drama, Gikwang played as Lee Ho-soo, an intelligent 26-year-old government employee, in Smart City in 2037.
He has strong faith in the government’s “Stability Care System”, used to prevent crime using extreme emotional regulation. His emotions are controlled by the “Stability Care Chip,” which limits them when they become too extreme. He is a disciplined, computer-like character.
Mrs. Cop is an SBS crime-thriller drama starring a number of famous actors and actresses such as veteran actress Kim Hee-ae, Kim Min-jong from The Blue duo group, Lee Da-hee, Son Ho-jun, and including Gikwang as the support role here. The drama is about a female cop who deals with harsh criminal activities along with her superior and squad members, with a total of 18 episodes.
According to Asianwiki, the drams tells about a strong woman named Choi Young-jin. She is a female detective squad chief. She is also a mother who raises her daughter named Ha-eun. At work, she deals with brutal crimes with her senior detective Park Jong-ho and squad members Min Do-young, Han Jin-woo, Jo Jae-deok, and Lee Se-won, acted by Lee Gi-kwang.
In this drama, Gikwang played as Lee Se-won, the youngest detective of the violent crime investigation team led by Choi Young-jin. He is a rookie detective who grew up sheltered and without any hardships.
His character is best described as a Mama’s boy that has never had to worry about anything.
Me Too, Flower
Me Too, Flower is an MBC romantic comedy starring a number of famous actors and actresses such as Lee Ji-ah and Yoon Shi-yoon, including Gikwang, who has a support role here. The drama is about the relationship of an abrasive female police officer and a millionaire masquerading as a parking attendant, with a total of 15 episodes, according to Wikipedia.
According to IMDb, a tough female police officer who suffers from depression falls in love with a young multimillionaire whom she initially believed was a parking attendant. In this drama, Gikwang played as Jo Ma-roo, a new partner of Officer Cha Bong-sun, he is a plain junior police officer. Although a little stupid, but he has a thought about love that is truly unexpected.
He is a big admirer of Cha Bong-sun and crazily in love with her, but he doesn’t have the courage to say because he feels Bong-sun is too senior.
He also played the role as Pink Chicken here, an idol which is the favorite singer of Officer Cha Bong-sun.
