1. Jun Ji-hyun’s Movie – My Sassy Girl (2001)


My Sassy Girl is a movie written and directed by Kwak Jae-Young which was released on July 27, 2001 with a duration of 123 minutes. The film is in the Romantic-Comedy genre. In addition to starring Jun Ji-hyun, the movie stars Cha Tae-Hyun, Kim In-Mun, Song Ok-Suk, Han Jin-Hee, and Yang Geum-seok. This movie tells the story of Gyun-Woo, who is a college student interested in picking up girls, drinking with his buddies, and avoiding his nagging mother whenever possible. While riding the subway, a drunken girl changes his fate forever. She’s almost unconscious on the train, and vomits on an older guy. She then leans over to Gyun-Woo and everybody assumes she is his girlfriend! Gyun-Woo soon finds himself in a relationship he did not ask for, but soon to forget this sassy girl.

The film tells of a female Police Officer, Kyung-Jin, who spots a purse snatcher fleeing on foot. She’s off-duty, but gives chase anyways. Kyung-Jin arrests a man named Myung-Woo, who sheeps for the purse snatcher. The two are then paired together to patrol an area popular with underage students. Love soon blooms for the couple.

The film became a fairly popular movie in 2008. The film was written and directed by Jeong Yoon-Chul, Yoo Il-Han, Yoon Jin-Ho, Kim Ba-Da. The film was released on Janaury 31, 2008 with a duration of 102 minutes. The movie stars Hwang Jung-Min. Jun Ji-hyun plays Song Soo-Jung.

This film tells the story of Song Soo-Jung, who produces human interest TV documentaries for a small company. She is sick of her job and needs to dramatize the stories for maximum effect. Soo-Jung then decides to take her company’s expensive video camera and shoot a documentary on an African Lion that refuses to eat. Suddenly the shoot for the documentary is canceled, but, making things infinitely worse for Soo-Jung, someone snatches the video camera right from her hands. At the same time, a man in a Hawaiian shirt comes out of the blue and retrieves the stolen camera for Song Soo-Jung. The man tells Song Soo-Jung that he is Superman, but powerless now because of kryptonite placed in his head by an evil villain.

The film is also one of the most popular films of 2012. The film stars Kim Soo-hyun, Kim Hye-Soo, Lee Jung-Jae, Oh Dal-Su, and Jun Ji-hyun. Jun Ji-hyun returns to the big screen with Kim Soo-hyun, and performs a kissing scene. Jun Ji-hyun plays the role of Yenicall.

The Thieves tells the story of Popie, Yenicall, Chewingum, and Zampano, who are a team of professional thieves in South Korea. After they score a valuable antique vase, they hear from Macao Park and he proposes a highly lucrative new job in Macau. Meanwhile, Pepsee is released from prison on a special pardon.

A few years back, Macao Park, Pepsee, and Popie worked together as a crew. Macao Park and Pepsee are also in a romantic relationship. Then, while stealing gold bars, Macao Park’s cable snapped in an elevator shaft, and he disappeared with the gold bars. Pepsee was arrested shortly afterwards.

Now, Popie, Yenicall, Chewinggum, and Zampano head off to Hong Kong to work with Macao Park. What Macao Park does not know is that Pepsee is also coming with them.

5. Jun Ji-hyun’s Movie – Assassination (2015)


The film was written and directed by Choi Dong-Hoon, Lee Gi-Cheol which was released on July 22, 2015 with 135 minutes duration. The film is Jun Ji-hyun’s last film in 2015. Jun Ji-hyun plays An Ok-Yoon.

Assassination tells of the assassination plot that is intended to take out a pro-Japanese group. Yeom Seok-Jin is an agent from the interim government. He plans the assassination plot and gives order to An Ok-Yoon. An Ok-Yoon is a deadly sniper, and she works with Soksapo and Hwang Deok-Sam. She takes on the mission due to her strong desire to see Korea’s independence.

Meanwhile, Hawaii Pistol is a contract killer. He and his partner Younggam are hired to take out An Ok-Yoon and her assassination team.

6. Jun Ji-hyun’s Drama – My Love from the Star (2015)


My Love from the Star was the most popular drama of 2015. In addition to its unique storyline, the cast of this drama is also very supportive of Jun Ji-hyun and Kim Soo-hyun. This story of this drama is that in August, 1598, newly appointed governor Dam Ryung stays for a night at an inn run by Mr. That. During that evening, Mr. Yang shows Dam Ryung a captured mermaid named Sim Chung. Later that night, Dam Ryung releases her into the ocean and, before she swims away, Sim Chung reaches out her hand to Dam Ryung which he briefly holds.

In the present day, Joon-Jae is a smooth talking conman with magician like abilities. He works with Nam-Doo and Tae-O. For their next score, Joon-Jae impersonates a prosecutor and swindles a large amount of money from a wealthy suspect’s mother. Joon-Jae travels abroad and stays at an oceanside resort. Meanwhile, Sim Chung is swept up in a tidal wave and washed ashore near the oceanside resort. She sees Joon-Jae.
