Yoo Ji-tae is an actor, director, and screenwriter and is a multi-talented male celebrity in South Korea. His acting skills are highly recognized as he starred in numerous movies and television series with some acclaimed directors such as Hur Jin-ho in One Fine Spring Day (2001), Park Chan-wook in Oldboy (2003), and Hong Sang-soo in Woman Is the Future of Man (2004).
Yoo Ji-tae made his debut in the entertainment industry as a fashion model. In 1995, he walked the runaway for the Seoul Fashion Artist Association collections. He then made his screen in 1998. He became known for his role in the movie Attack the Gas Station as Paint with his sensitive and artistic image. Thanks to his performance in that movie, he rose up to stardom.

Sweet Life of Yoo Ji-tae and Kim Hyo-jin
How It Started
Yoo Ji-tae and Kim Hyo-jin are a celebrity couple in South Korea and are open about their relationship to the public. As such, this lovely couple is well known by the people.
The lovebirds first met when they were working as models for the same clothing brand in 2003. Feeling some good chemistry at the photo shoot, they continued as good friends and kept in touch. Three years later in 2006, they started to officially date.
In an interview, Kim Hyo-jin shared about the beginning of their relationship. She said, “We knew each other for a while. We met through a commercial, and we kept in touch. I had a chance to stay in New York for half a year, and that’s when he first let me know how he really felt. He said that he missed me when we were apart.”
The Wedding Bells Finally Rang
The happy news came from the couple in August 2011 when they announced their engagement. A few weeks later, Yoo Ji-tae and Kim Hyo-jin released their beautiful pre-wedding photos. And, finally, on December 2, 2011, they held their wedding ceremony in Shilla Hotel, Seoul. They chose that date because it was their 5th anniversary of dating.
According to the president of World Vision Korea (Yoo Ji-tae and Kim Hyo-jin were World Vision ambassadors), Park Jong-sam, the ceremony was private. It started at 6 pm and was guided by actor Ji Jin-hee. Meanwhile, the after party was guided by the comedian Kim Joon-ho, and he successfully brought joy and fun to the party.
The wedding ceremony itself was like a movie premiere as many celebrities came to celebrate the happy day of Yoo Ji-tae and Kim Hyo-jin. Some of them were Ahn Seung-gi, Park Joong-hoon, Lee Byung-hun, Ha Ji-won, Cha Seung-won, Song Yoon-ah, Go Soo, Park Hae-il, Soo Ae, Ku Hye-sun, Han Hyo-joo, Moon Geun-young, and Tablo and his beautiful wife Kang Hye-jung.
The bride looked stunning with a simple white gown and a white hanbok for the wedding’s after party ceremony. Meanwhile, the groom looked charming with a black tux and white shirt. After the after party, the bridegroom held a press conference. Yoo Ji-tae revealed his overloading happiness by stating, ” I will try my best to make this marriage go well and happily, just see.” Min Hyo-jin also added, “Today is a wonderful day. We will have a happy life together.” Then, they kissed each other’s forehead and cheek. What a sweet couple!
