The Multi-Talented Kim Young-ho
Kim Young-ho is a South Korean Actor who was originally a vocalist of an underground rock band in Cheongju in 1988. The band was called Ji-poong-woo, and they performed at the River Music Festival in 1990. In 1994, he made his debut as musical actor and in 1996, he began acting in a drama titled Start, which aired on KBS2. Since then, he has appeared in film, television series, and stage productions such as Blue (2003), Potrait of a Beauty (2008), and Insu, The Queen Mother (2011). He is famous for his rugged and manly charms.

Being a Singer
Since 2004, Kim Young-ho has sang several soundtracks for the dramas A Second Proposal and Green Days: Dinosaur and I. In March 2013, he released his first mini album entitled Color. The album consists of five tracks. One of them was Leaving, which also had a music video on the official CJ E&M YouTube Channel. The music video was directed by Cha Eun-taek and featured famous guitarist Park Joo-won. The song was about regret and lost love. He has successfully transformed himself into a charismatic and emotional ballad singer.
Later, in November 2013, Kim Young-ho released his second mini album titled Man’s Life. This mini album also consists of five tracks with Man’s Life being the title song. The natural and original rocking guitar sound were well combined with Kim Young-ho’s rough voice. The Album was released under LOEN Entertainment label.
Being a Writer
In April 2012, Kim Young-ho released his first book titled Even If You Go Far Away, There Is a Story To Tell. This poetry and photo books includes about 70 out of 300 poems that were written during his busy days. This book revealed the emotional side of the charismatic and masculine singer, and received a positive response from the public.
In October 2013, Kim Young-ho released his second book titled You, Live, Forget. In this book, he put out the sensible and sensitive emotions inside and put them into words. His writing revealed ordinary feelings that anyone would ever experience, such as the desire for freedom, wills and challenges to overcome trials, nostalgia for parents and feelings of wobbliness. Kim Young-ho’s acceptance of the world is a motive to live well today and bring hope and happiness to tomorrow.
