Im Jung-eun, mostly known as Lim Jung-eun, is a South Korean actress who was born on 31st March 1981 in Busan, South Korea. She has been acknowledged for her appearance in Tone Deaf Clinic in a supporting role, which led her to win the ‘Best Supporting Actress’ award at the 2012 Korean Culture and Entertainment Awards. She has also appeared in several TV shows, such as Lawyers (KBS 2005), East of Eden (KBS 2006), Cloud Stairs (KBS 2006), Ground Zero (MBC 2007), Aquarius (SBS 2008), The Kingdom of The Winds (KBS 2008), Swallow the Sun (SBS 2009), It’s OK Because I Love You / Fly High (2006), Shadows in The Palace (2007), and finally, My Love (2007).
One of her best roles was being case in The Equator Man as lead actress. The Joseon X-Files actress played alongside Uhm Tae Woong, Lee Jun Hyuk and Lee Bo Young in The Equator Man. Im Jung Eun’s role was Sumi, who is an ambitious and success-oriented woman. The character is also described as being particularly interested in the prosecutor character, played by Lee Jun Hyuk, because she finds something in his past that she can use in her quest for success.

Im Jung eun’s Wedding
It has been belatedly reported that actress Im Jung Eun tied the knot with her partner 2014.
While her agency previously announced that the big day would take place at the end of June, the exact date was not revealed. The wedding ceremony was eventually held at a wedding hall in Seoul on June 28, 2014. Her husband is said to be a non-celebrity three years Im Jung Eun’s junior.
The actress’ representatives commented prior to the wedding, “Im Jung Eun tends to be careful with such matters, so the wedding news was simply revealed late. The ceremony will be private, and they have invited only their family and relatives.” Im Jung-eun met her husband through a friend and decided to get married after the KBS 2TV drama Ruby’s Ring.
After a few months of being married, Im Jung-eun was reported to have become pregnant during the Winter of 2014. According to sources, Im Jung-eun worked hard on pre-natal education. She’s apparently very happy with her husband. Several months later, Im gave birth to a baby girl and has been focusing on her family since then. As of now, it seems that Im Jung-eun is on a hiatus from her acting career to spend all her time with her husband and daughter.
