After the Success of “Tempo,” EXO Make a Comeback With the Repackage Album ‘LOVE SHOT’!

In early November, EXO released the album Don’t Mess Up My Tempo. The boy band led by Suho and friends was about 2 weeks active in promoting the main song “Tempo.”

Now, SM Entertainment is again announcing good news for EXO-L (as EXO’s loyal fans). Because Baekhyun and friends will make a new comeback with the release of their repackaged album on December 13th.

According to reports, EXO will release an album titled Love Shot. Interestingly, this title seems exactly the same as the theory made by EXO-L (as EXO’s loyal fans) some time ago.

The album Love Shot will be released physically in two versions. Because this is a repackaged version, the 11 songs from the album Don’t Mess Up My Tempo are also included. The album Love Shot will include 4 new songs titled “Love Shot,” “Trauma,” “Wait,” and the Chinese version of “Love Shot.”

Along with the announcement of the repackaged album, SM Entertainment also released 2 photo teasers. First, the diamond image with the words “Love Shot” at the top and the second is a black and white photo of the eight EXO members.

Meanwhile, a few days ago EXO members were in Hawaii for a photo session. Sehun and friends will also be present in the near future with their traveling reality show.

EXO’s “Love Shot” Music Video

Produced by Rice N’ Peas, “Love Shot” is described as a pop dance track that features a memorably addictive chorus and a heavy 808 bass. Members Chen and Chanyeol participated in writing the lyrics that talk about hoping to be together and rediscover the meaning of true love, which seems to be disappearing more and more from a dreary world.

Talking to Billboard about co-composing the song, Mike Woods stated that the song was created back in January 2017, and stated that him and the other composers MZMC, Bazzi, Kevin White, and Anthony Russo, “wanted something that was very, very performance-driven, very dance-driven — something that would sound good loud and in an arena. We like the fact that it’s kind of in a different time signature — it’s in 6/8, so that’s not like a generic pop song.” Woods also stated that the original title of the song was “Love Shop.”
