Voice Synopsis

Moo Jin-hyuk and Kang Kwon-joo

Moo Jin-Hyuk was a popular detective who solved major cases, but after his wife was murdered by a serial killer his life began coming apart. He’s full of guilt because he wasn’t able to protect his wife and he secretly starts looking for her killer.

Meanwhile, Kang Kwon-Joo graduated from the police academy with top marks. She began working at an emergency 112 call center. She’s working there when Moo Jin-hyuk’s wife’s murder happens, and her father, who is a police sergeant, was one of the officers who went to the crime scene. Her father gets killed at the scene, and Kwon-Joo hears about it over the phone. Afterward, she goes to the U.S. to study and eventually comes back to Korea as a professional voice profiler.

With the help of Kang Kwon-joo’s keen hearing, which is better than most people’s, Moo Jin-Hyuk and Kang Kwon-Joo solve cases together as part of the Golden Time Team while looking for their loved ones’ murderer.

Characters of Voice

Kang Kwon-joo Voice

There are three main characters in this drama: Kang Kwon-joo, Moo Jin-hyuk, and finally Mo Tae-gu, the killer who murdered the two detectives’ loved ones.

Kang Kwon-joo was played by Lee Ha-na, and is a tough policewoman in search of her father’s murderer. She’s the one who took the call reporting the murder of Moo Jin-hyuk’s wife. When the call was disconnected, she was struggling to determine if it was okay to call her back or not, but her supervisor hurried her and pressed the button to call back himself. Not long after the murder happened, she received a call from her dad, who happened to be patrolling around the crime scene, and he said that he’d check to see if the perpetrator was still around. In the end, he was murdered, too, and Kang Kwon-joo’s supervisor blamed her for calling Moo Jin-hyuk’s wife back, even though she’s not the one who did it.

After leaving to go study in the U.S., she came back and formed the Golden Time Team to search for her father’s murderer. Using her excellent hearing, she solves many cases with Moo Jin-hyuk and the other members of the golden Time Team.

Moo Jin-hyuk

Moo Jin-hyuk is a detective who was very good at his job, but that ends when his wife is murdered. The only thing that keeps him going is his sick son. When he first meets Kang Kwon-joo, he really hates her, as she insists that the true murderer is still out there, and isn’t the suspect who’s being held for trial. He suspected she was bribed by the suspect to study in U.S. and then defend him at trial. Eventually, Moo Jin-hyuk learns the truth, and they become part of the same team.

Mo Tae-gu

Mo Tae-gu is the real criminal behind the murders of Kang Kwon-joo’s father and Moo Jin-hyuk’s wife. Not only that, almost every case they investigate is linked to him. On the surface, he seems like a normal person, but in reality, the inside of his mind is full of mysteries. He always seems calm and stoic, until he’s faced with the prospect of murder. He set up perfect crimes with the help of his father and Nam Sang-tae, making it hard for Kang Kwon-joo and Moo Jin-hyuk to catch him because he leaves almost no evidence behind him at his crimes.
