An Accidental Love Story Between an Aspiring Prosecutor and Her Mentor

Suspicious Partner is a drama that tells the love story of Eun Bong-hee, a prosecutor trainee and Noh Ji-wook, a prosecutor. One day, during her train ride, Eun Bong-hee gets molested by someone. However, she mistakenly accuses Noh Ji-wook as the molester and she later calls him a pervert.

After this unfortunate incident, it turns out that they are both headed the same way. At the time, Eun Bong-hee catches her boyfriend with another woman red-handedly. Because of the pain she feels of seeing her boyfriend with another woman, she swears that she is going to sleep with the first man that she sees, and it just so happens, that the man she sees first is Noh Ji-wook. Noh Ji-wook helps her by agreeing to sleep with her, but afterward, he takes her out for a drink and reminds her that should not just sleep with anyone. Eun Bong-hee later passes out because of too much alcohol, and finds herself at Noh Ji-wook’s house when she wakes up.

A few months later, Eun Bong-hee is assigned to work under Noh Ji-wook. During this time, she meets Hee-joon again and tells him to take his things from her apartment while she goes to a convenience store, but when she returns home, she finds him dead. Eun Bong-hee is immediately arrested for his murder, while Noh Ji-wook is assigned as the prosecutor of her case. Eventually, he finds evidence to prove Eun Bong-hee is not the murderer but later quits his job and becomes a lawyer due to the case. Meanwhile, Eun Bong-hee is determined to find the real murderer of her ex-boyfriend. Two years later, they meet again in a court case, but this time they are on opposing sides.

Ji Chang-wook

Suspicious Partner Noh Jiwook

Ji Chang-wook is playing the role of Noh Ji-wook, the male lead character in Suspicious Partner. Noh Ji-wook is a handsome, hardheaded but clever prosecutor in the Central District Attorney’s Office. He was mistaken and falsely accused as a molester, as well as being called a pervert by Eun Bong-hee. However, later he helps Eun Bong-hee after she catches her boyfriend having an affair with another woman. Several months later, he becomes the prosecutor in the case of Hee-joon’s murder and finds the evidence that Eun Bong-hee is not guilty. Nevertheless, he has to quit his job as a result. He ends up changing his job and becoming a private attorney. He harbors a deep trauma from an incident from his childhood involving his parents and his first love.

Nam Ji-hyun

In this drama, Nam Ji-hyun is playing the role of Eun Bong-hee, the female lead character in Suspicious Partner. Eun Bong-hee was a talented athlete in her youth, and is a strong, tenacious and confident prosecutor trainee at the present time.
