The Reasons Why You Have to Watch TvN’s Drama Series Bride of the Water God

Spin-off from Comics

The Bride of Habaek was adapted from a popular Korean comic titled Bride of the Water God (2006) by Yoon Mi Kyung. Through the comic, Yoon Mi Kyung managed to display a mix of fantasy stories wrapped in horror, mystery, and romance. Thus, The Bride of Habaek basically has an extraordinary original story.

The Drama Is Fully Supported by Creative Content Agencies

Appointed from a phenomenal webtoon with the same title, the director and team had to work super hard to present episodes that are in accordance with the imagination of the reader. For this reason, the development of this drama was fully done by creative content agencies in Korea ranging from effects to makeup.

The Storyline Is Fresh and Not Boring

The Bride of the Water God drama was really fresh to watch because it was covered with silly dialogues from the Habaek.

This Habaek is a prospective king whose character is perfect and must always be praised and numbered united. But, all of that clashes with a situation where no one knows and acknowledges his deity. This is where the humor happens. When he spoke with the god’s style, it sounded like someone with a grandeur syndrome to Yoon So-Ah’s ears.

A Strong Chemistry

Nam Joo-Hyuk and Shin Se-Kyung may not have known each other before the production process of The Bride of Habaek began. Even so, they already look like friends! They seem comfortable enough to be close to each other. Their chemistry behind the scenes is just as great as their appearance on the screen.

Actors Who Look Like Top Models

Five main actors from Bride of the Water God, Nam Joo-Hyuk, Shin Se-Kyung, Krystal Jung, Gong Myung, and Im Ju-Hwan look perfect when posing in front of the camera. They even seemed to be immersed in their respective characters during the first photo shoot. With handsome and beautiful visuals and ideal body proportions, fans want to see them really walking on the catwalk.

The Majority of the Characters Are Gods

In this drama, tvN featured many characters who have mystical powers from Habaek and Moo Ra who acted as the god of water, Bi Ryeom who plays the god of wind, and Im Ju-Hwan who acts as a fusion between humans and gods.

These are the reasons why all of you Korean drama lovers, especially of the fantasy genre, must watch the drama series Bride of the Water God!
