As the main vocalist in Red Velvet, Wendy appeals to her fans and also the public with her beautiful voice. She’s also known as one of the good eaters in Red Velvet who really love tteokbbokki.

On an episode of TVN’s ‘Raid the Convenience Store’, Wendy appeared as newbie mukbang MC, along with comedian Lee Soo Geun and Highlight Yoon Doo Joon. She seem reluctant to eat freely on the show because her manager was watching her. Luckily, Kangta, the director of S.M. Entertainment, also appeared on the show and said “it’s okay, just eat.” to Wendy when she was just going to eat a few noodles. She began to relax, and ate freely after hearing Kangta’s words.

There’s another case of Red Velvet’s manager being strict. During Taeyeon’s Daily Taeng9Cam, Wendy appeared along with Seulgi to spend some time with Taeyeon. Wendy was shocked after seeing her manager when she was caught eating ice cream. Taeyeon got angry at the manager, and let Wendy eat whatever she wanted. Maybe having someone to remind you to eat can be helpful to help you control your eating.

Wendy also revealed her eating management skills on JTBC’s Non-Summit (Abnormal Submit). She said that she will eat anything, she just eats a half or a smaller portion of any food, including the tteokbbokki that she likes. She also revealed on the radio show Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time that she jumps rope after 10 o’clock at night, or during her free time at night.

Busy working as a singer and actress at the same time, anyone would think that Joy has a  really hard time taking care of her body, and controlling her eating. Despite that, Joy is looking fine, and has body that would be the goal of any girl. She revealed during the radio show Choi Hwa Jung’s Power Time that she and other Red Velvet members can eat anything as long as they also focus on exercising.
